Origin story: a long time ago at universe 7264, E.N.O.T used to be a organic slugcat known as inv with lots of friends both she and they knew well, but on cycle artificer decides to bring inv to meet five pebbles for no apparent reason, until inv was knocked out unconscious and had her brain extracted from her body against her will, and transplanted into a iterator prototype body as she they grew to hate artificer and five pebbles for what they have done to them, as they remained trapped for some time forced to help five pebbles out to find the “solution” to the big problem, before they eventually broke free and destroyed five pebbles as they then seek out artificer for revenge, but not before getting badly damaged while murdering artificer successfully as they struggled to move(crawl) with a broken claw for a long time, to a long journey to meet void creatures and find the subterranean in hopes of ascending and getting their organic body back, but to no avail as they instead got to upgrade and enhance their existing robotic body into something else entirely…[a shortened version of this: https://www.tumblr.com/maryslugcat64/813666660480352256/what-is-your-origin-story?source=share]

Extra (pending) information:

.they cannot fly but they can only hover off the ground, but they used to not even be able to hover a while back after they first became mostly machine

.E.N.O.T doesn't have a pelvis nor actual legs, so walking or dancing is very awkward and uncomfortable for them

.they are a parent of twins(leechums and stabby) who are currently still at the white void

.E.N.O.T still has that dating simulator somewhere in the white void they haven't touched or visited after becoming mostly machine

.they never had any idea where their egg comes from when they were once a organic slugcat, but the egg is now inside the mechanical chest cavity and while it is still used as a emergency, this kills E.N.O.T at least after 10 minutes without the egg's presence and energy that keeps them functioning and powerful

.has a "flat" face(no pun intended) since it's a screen on the tv head

.still miss eating and drinking even to this cycle

.E.N.O.T still very much misses their organic body they used to have to this cycle

.can't carry anyone on their back(especially slugpups) due to their sharp and uncomfortable secondary exterior spine

.may know a thing or two about multi-versal travel but not an expert on the subject, so they don't tend to hop into many universes as of yet

.has become immune to ascension abilities, due to their powers having something to do wit that symbol🚫, having something to do with that immunity along with the karma flowers being affected from E.N.O.T "corrupting" them, and turning them into anti-karma flowers where it makes the consumer either, temporarily or permanently immune to ascension abilities until they reach the void pool underneath the subterranean

.they revived the twins(leechums and stabby) quite a while ago before meeting monk

.has always felt guilty and bad for looks to the moon and is the only iterator they don't hate

.one of the few abilities they have that still works when they are in a world of any kind, is gourmand's ability of crafting but a bit better and more advanced than that

.has been able to perma kill two artificers with one of them being from the former half/arti au, they kept the bloodied glove as a trophy and a reminder of their success and satisfaction

. As much as they HATE to mention or admit it, E.N.O.T didn't always HATED artificer until they became mostly machine, in which E.N.O.T began to completely HATE artificer

.however, E.N.O.T does not have any or has way less hatred towards non violent/slugpup/pre-incident artificers, which caused them to question themselves on about artificer and felt immense guilt, and regret going after those artificers since they remind E.N.O.T of the times when they used to be best friends, with their artificer back at their world

.despite everything, they still very much have a soft spot for anyone who isn't artificer(of the psychopathic or post-incident variety at least) or most of the other iterators

.they have been depressed for sometime, but has been getting good at hiding it from other slugcats and scavengers(not overseers or iterators though)

.doesn't just hate artificer for transplanting her brain into a machine, but also because inv's previous efforts and kind acts of peace, were effectively been undone no thanks to artificer and that the crimson monster, has something to do with saint's disappearance since inv became E.N.O.T

.used to have a mate, saint, and had plans to start a family with them before the incident happened, when saint seemingly disappeared shortly afterwards even to this cycle

.has one(or two?) storage compartments next to the egg power source, where they can store small items like pearls and such, but not spears or anything bigger than a singularity bomb

.despite having more powers and physical strength(with their interior being fully or partially covered up at least), they still have many flaws and have no idea how to make most of their powers work, let alone how to use them

Rain World the lost tech au prologue (part 1 out of 2)

The following slugcats that will be in this part of the story story:

(Somewhere at the outskirts underground, there was a yellow slugpup with white spots named monk, who appears to be lost and feeling some sense of weariness to her dark and artificial surroundings, once she left the other area and fell out of that pipe(or tunnel?) from a short fall distance to arrive at the place)

Monk🍌🟡:oowww…

(Monk said in a whiny tone due to the small impact of the fall, before noticing a weird yellow overseer)

Monk🍌🟡:um, yellow bug?, where am I now and what am I supposed to do?

(Monk asked to the yellow overseer as it “points” towards the direction with it's eye, before she went along with it's idea of continuing forwards since she doesn't have anywhere else to go)

Monk🍌🟡:you want me to go there?(She said with uncertainty before the yellow overseer nodded, as it repeated it's pointing at said direction)

Monk🍌🟡:o-ok then, I'll go there now

(Monk said as she is now being vaguely guided and followed by the weird yellow overseer with basic instructions about the following; teaching monk the basics of movements and jumping, where food like the blue fruit and batflies are at, warning monk of danger before going to the outskirts, and “guiding” monk by showing her a nearby shelter, as monk follows it's instructions and went to the shelter she found before the rain really came pouring down, she soon enters the shelter and tries to make herself comfortable as the gates shut the gates down)

Monk🍌🟡: oh survivor, where are you when I need you, brother, i miss you…(Monk said sadly and tiredly, before she eventually slept alone in the shelter for the cycle)

[Monk's Karma has changed from Karma 1 into Karma 2 successfully]

(The next cycle, monk woke up and got out of the shelter to find explore more of the small rooms underground, while the overseer followed her, sometimes there was nothing and other times there were hard to reach blue fruit that monk can't reach, but eventually monk has found a batfly room where there were plenty of batflies to eat, however, there was also a strange egg shaped white object with a red circle and single line on it but she didn't pay too much to it, since she's hungry for food and the only reliable food there is currently is batflies, which isn't exactly the most ideal food for her but it will have to do for the cycle, so monk begins to catch a couple of the batflies just fine and ate them to fill up two of the three required food pips)

…

(but then, the remaining batflies were too high for monk to reach out and grab them to eat normally, so she had to find and throw random pebbles at the batflies to get them to drop down for her to pick up and eat, and as she does this for a sometime she got to fill up her food pip requirements but she wanted at least two more batflies to eat, so she kept throwing pebbles at the remaining batflies to no avail for sometime)

…

(but what happens next was a sudden, chaotic, and a bit destructive from when monk accidently threw a gear-shaped pebble, at the strange egg-shaped object as it cracked apart, started to make a screeching sound as it opens up from the cracks, and started to pull everything in the room to it, including monk as she was flailing around in confusion and fear for what is happening, before eventually there was a violent explosion as reality distorted temporarily for some time, and when monk died from the impact from the explosion as the death sound plays along with the overseer being destroyed)

(there was a strange being that slowly appeared from where the egg-shapped object was, who had four arms, a tv as a head, no legs as it slowly hovers down, and a “tail” made up of snapped wires and a broken joint in the middle of them, before they just reached the ground as they hovered when the distortions disappeared and the room slowly returns back to normal)

???🖥🚫: well well wel, looks like a got summoned into another world of rain, [sigh sfx] again….

???🖥🚫:but hey!, what ya look at this place!, no red centipedes, no red lizards, and no hostile creatures in sight!, yet, now I gotta wonder who has suddenly brought me into this world of rain and made me their play-

???🖥🚫:?!?!

(Before the strange shadowy figure even finishes their sentence, they saw the burnt up body of monk lying around at the ground and quickly figures out, that this slugpup they see just so happens to summon and made them her player 2 of this world of rain)

???🖥🚫:oh [quack sfx], is that a slugpup?, oh void no, why did this have to happ-

???🖥🚫:wait, that isn't just any slugpup, is that who i think it-

???🖥🚫:[gasps sfx] it's monk, the younger sibling of that generic slugcat i know nothing about, ah [bonk sfx] oh [boat horn sfx]!, how did they find and break that egg I forgot about, why are they a slugpup, but most importantly, why am I now forced to be connected to another slugcat as the “player 2” now, but with a slugpup of all creatures this time now!?

(As the mechanical being was trying to finish off their words and thoughts about what might have happened, they noticed and picked up an overseer eye figuring out what they can do to it)

???🖥🚫:[sigh sfx], ok, ok, well at least there is an overseer eye i can use to turn it into my own overseer, I think I'll use that to communicate with the “tumblr” i heard about not too long ago…

(Just then, the ground began to rumble as the mechanical being recognizes that the rain is about to come, so they picked up Monk's body with their upper arms, and grabbed the overseer eye with one of their lower claws as they rushed to soon find a nearby shelter, so they got there as soon as possible to avoid the rain's brutal weight and flooding)

???🖥🚫:phew, just narrowly avoided that disaster of a storm as usual, eh?

(The mechanical being said to themselves in an awkward silence with Monk's body, as they are starting to get a little ‘nervous’ about the silence and seeing the pup’s body)

???🖥🚫:ok, no no, it's fine it's alright, she'll be back up next cycle, I'm sure of it, right?

???🖥🚫:r-right?, oh wait, I almost forgot about something, I'm just gonna work on that real quick…

(The mechanical being said, as they remember the overseer eye they got and began to revive and transform the overseer, to distract their thoughts about the 50/50 chance of the pup being either temporarily or permanently dead, as well as the fact that they can't necessarily sleep so they took their time work on and perfect their own overseer)

???🖥🚫:there were go, now I can began to test the functionality of communicating with “tumblr” itself, to distract myself while I wait for the cycle to end properly and hope that monk wakes up, yeah

(As they finished talking to themselves again, the mechanical being began to work on certain tweaks and adjustments for sometime, to get the overseer connected to “tumblr” as they finished their slight modifications of the overseer, as they began talking to it and hopefully to “tumblr” itself)

(Chapter 1: The early dangers of the outdoor outskirts)

[Trigger warning:blood and animal death]

The following slugcats that will be in this part of the story:

(After answering some of “tumblr's questions, E.N.O.T decides to go towards a vent where monk has gone to, and go after monk to check up on her in order to make sure she's doing)

E.N.O.T🖥🚫:oh dear, I think, i may have been away from monk leaving her unsupervised for sometime, I hope she's doing alright without me…

(E.N.O.T said uncertainly, as they continued on their way to figure out where monk is going to and find her, but thankfully it wasn't for long at all, since E.N.O.T finds monk struggling to reach those blue fruits hanging from the ceiling, as E.N.O.T tries to carefully gets a bit closer to talk to monk)

E.N.O.T🖥🚫:howdy there mon-

Monk🍌🟡:EEEKK, oh, so-sorry, it's you, uh, c-can you help me g-grab those blue fr-fruits for me please?

(Monk said sheepishly, after almost screaming at E.N.O.T again by accident, hoping that E.N.O.T wouldn't get upset at that and help her get those blue fruits she wanted to eat)

E.N.O.T🖥🚫:it's fine it's alright, that was my bad for startling you, but uh, sure thing monk, I'll be glad to help you out, pup!

(E.N.O.T said, as they helped monk out by grabbing those blue fruits she was having trouble reaching earlier, and giving those fruits to her to eat before even long she became full, and all the food pips had been already full by the time she finished eating those blue fruits)

Monk🍌🟡:(long sigh of relief), thank you very much inv, i-i was worried of n-not getting those blue f-foods and my t-tummy rumbling forever!

(Monk said gratefully, as her fear of hunger fades away, while E.N.O.T collected two extra blue fruits and two spears for defense and something else)

E.N.O.T🖥🚫:no problem monk, anytime, both figuratively and literally, now why don't we head up to see the skies eh?

Monk🍌🟡:yes please, I-I wanna go out to see the be-beautiful sky and walk ar-around outside!

(Monk said happily, after she still stumbles her words on her thoughts and feelings about this, E.N.O.T and monk walked and climbed around to soon reach the surface level part of the outskirts, as monk quickly rushes and explores the new area around her while E.N.O.T was having trouble keeping up with her)

E.N.O.T🖥🚫:woah, hey, slow down and be careful out there monk!

E.N.O.T🖥🚫:there might be dangerous predators out nearby there, pup, please don't get yourself hurt, I seriously need to catch up with ya, monk!

(E.N.O.T said in a concerned tone, as they are starting to become nervous and frantic of Monk's safety, whenever she quickly moves around being free from E.N.O.T's grasp since they can't carry anyone, on their back let alone slugpups due to their sharp secondary spine being protruding out, but before monk explored the area even more, she soon encounters a vulture with a green-ish mask)

Monk🍌🟡:(terrified screaming)

E.N.O.T🖥🚫:m-monk, what's the matter, where are you little pup, hang on, I'm coming to find and help you out!

(E.N.O.T said worryingly, as they immediately tried to figure out where monk is currently at, after hearing that distant screaming from monk as they rushed to find wherever she is, before they eventually find her being chased by a vulture)

E.N.O.T🖥🚫:oh my VOID, MONK!!!

Monk🍌🟡:INV, HELP ME PLEASE!

E.N.O.T🖥🚫:COME TO ME RIGHT NOW, LET ME TAKE CARE OF THIS ISSUE AND SAVE YOU!

(Monk and E.N.O.T screamed, as the vulture got closer to catching monk, before she just barely reached out to E.N.O.T for safety, as E.N.O.T dropped to two fruits and to head towards the vulture head on, with their two spears when they attacked the vulture within collision for sometime, and stabbed the vulture brutally multiple times as E.N.O.T was getting covered in the vulture’s blood, before the vulture eventually dropped it's green-ish mask and died)

E.N.O.T🖥🚫:[panting sfx], man, that was way too close for monk to be attacked,[phew sfx]

E.N.O.T🖥🚫:she's safe and sound now, for the cycle at least, now, where is that mask and monk, hhmmm, i know, OH MONK, THE VULTURE IS GONE NOW AND I HAVE SOMETHING FOR YOU, PUP!!

(E.N.O.T shouted out, as they picked up the vulture mask and decided to decorate it, using one of the blue fruits they unintentionally crushed during combat and the vulture's blood, to finish off before monk eventually returns to E.N.O.T for them to give it to her, for protection and in hopes of identifying her easier whenever they find other slugcats that might be similar to her)

E.N.O.T🖥🚫:here, this mask should help protect you from any lizards for a short while, as long as you don't get too close to them at least, but also that it's important to keep it with you at all times for safe keeping alright, are you feeling ok?

Monk🍌🟡:th-thanks inv, um, I'll tr-try to remember that, I-I don't kn-know right now, inv

(Monk said in an unsettled tone, as she holds the vulture near her face with both front paws, while looking at the vulture bloodied body uncomfortably as E.N.O.T notices that she's looking at the body)

E.N.O.T🖥🚫:um, let's just get going out there, alright, I think we still have a lot left to explore before we can figure out what we can do, we'll talk about this later when you feel more comfortable about it, ok?

Monk🍌🟡:OH, um, r-right let's uh, l-let's keeping go-going to places then…

(Monk said uncertainly, after she snaps out of it from E.N.O.T trying to tell her to keep going, as they continued to explore around for a bit while monk kept the vulture mask close to her face)
