this is really a character submission but it's an ask because submissions only let me pass a single image and I have three

my Little Guard (there is a fourth one but I'm having trouble figuring out their personality)

slugfoxes, an evasive subspecies of the more well-known slugcats, known to be able to use a much larger variety of tools and have a voice-casting effect to call attention to another place where they aren't (as a means to avoid danger)

This comes at the price of being a tad larger than normal so it's a slight bit more difficult to maneuver around

But the biggest difference:

The ability to burrow.

They can make their own pipes, as they function as the original pipe-makers back when the Ancients had a need for them. However, since you don't have the resources and have to have a certain amount of karma to burrow, you can only make dirt burrows that get grown over after two cycles

Sometimes, they burrow to areas long since past

Some different Slugfoxes actually use white lizard scales as a kind of camouflage

oh! yeah! I recently figured out how Slice is

how it usually goes:

Slice: "Adopt?"

Beetlejaws: "Sure, go for it."

Slice: ":) !" (grabs the mosscreep)

but sometimes:

Slice: "Adopt?"

Beetlejaws: "Slice no."

Slice: "Adopt! >:( !"

Beetlejaws: "Slice NO!" (watches helplessly as slice successfully wrangles the primal aspid into their arms)

Slice: "The baby."
