BIG list below, plus some explanations for my name choices. as a rule of thumb, names were based either on the original name, or what i'd name the cat design i made up for that character.

Protags

Reimu - Dawnspirit (what i gather from her japanese name is that it has a very "ethereal" feel, so i tried to reflect that here. also, one of the kanji means "spirit", so spirit is included.)

Marisa - Drizzlespark ("drizzle", since her last name means drizzle, and "spark" for obvious reasons.)

Daiyousei - Skypaw (she's an apprentice because i felt like it.)

Cirno - Snowbeam

Meiling - Emberstrike

Koakuma - Redheart

Patchouli - Petalwhisper (since patchouli is an actual flower, i wanted to reference flowers somehow in patchy's name. ig i felt weird about actually making her prefix "patchouli", though.)

Sakuya - Moonflower (i KNOW moonflower already exists in wc but the name fits sakuya's original kanji too well in my eyes.)

Chen - Gingerpaw (also an apprentice, since she seems pretty inexperienced. "ginger", since "chen" means orange.)

Lily - Lilyheart (i could've LITERALLY named her lilywhite, since i'm pretty sure that's a valid name, but i felt weird about it, so she's lilyheart now.)

Youmu - Silvermist (this name sounded ghosty to me, so i went with it. though, maybe i should've made yuyuko's name more ghosty, too?)

Ran - Foxpool (i thought the "pool" suffix would fit with how ran's name means indigo, since a deep enough pool would look dark blue... maybe.)

Yukari - Violetfang/star (i came up with the idea that the sages, or other leader-y characters as we'll see later have the "star" suffix, but i also wanted to give yukari a warrior name to the side. "violet", since yukari means purple.)
