He’s too polite to do it on the regular, it probably doesn’t last very long and I think hardly anyone even knows he can. but if a stabby child comes running at you, well, gotta do what you gotta do.

So this might be spoilers, but is frisk in control at all during the genocide timeline? Or is it purely chara.

It's mostly Chara, woken from the fear and pain of a pacifist Frisk who could never defeat Asgore at the end of their first timeline, guiding Frisk through what needs to be done in order to be strong enough to beat him. The more horror Frisk experiences from their actions the more and more they retreat into themselves, leaving Chara to act and to take on the burdens of their sins.

A relook at Slumber!Alphys.

I find her so difficult to draw ,>-<, but I’m trying to figure out some shapes that I like! I imagine her magic is kinda like electrical static? And I don’t know if this is silly but maybe she has these little ghost like things that live from her magic and the dream residue that’s always staining her coat? They follow her around, like niggling thoughts in the back of your head. Mostly annoying but they’re just trying to help.

In seclusion of the empty ruins, Toriel protects monsterkind from weakened “cracks” in the fabric of their world. She always gives the children the option to stay in the abandoned city with her but knows that it may be more dangerous to stay than to face the outside. 

She will train the children until they prove themselves to her before letting them leave.
