The cosplayer tensed at hearing the other boy's voice, and they quickly pushed their shades back onto their face to hide their bubbling tears. Their hands remained at their cheeks, trying to wipe the tears away. A shaky sob rattled their frame and they clapped a hand over their mouth as they shook their head. Besides, they'd just be laughed at if they explained, anyway! It was a stupid reason to be upset, in the first place. Meisei moved one hand to wrap around themselves, to give some sort of their own comfort to themselves.
