Hey! I've been enjoying your Bachelorette Challenge posts, and I was wondering what rule set you go by? All the ones I find are not very detailed and I was hoping to find one with better guidelines for dates, group activities, etc.
Hi Lovely!! :D Aww thank you so much :D Tbh, I just kinda winged it lol. I looked at other peoples BCs and just pulled stuff from them. Alot of it was trial and error for me. I did several trial runs with sims i had in my bin to see what worked out well and what didn’t. So unfortunately I don’t have any sort of links to give you as i didn’t follow any set rules. I just asked around for things i couldn’t figure out and went from there. My BC isn’t as detailed as I’ve seen some other people’s, but if your interested in doing one feel free to ask me any questions :) ♥ ♥ ♥

I know! All their kids grew up really fast :( But they are all so adorable. I really have to start doing more stories and finding spouses for them. That is one thing I haven’t been doing sadly.

amespixels replied: I'm doing my first one, and it is more work than I've done before, with picture taking, queuing, keeping track of things. But as long as I pace myself, and don't worry about making myself rush through it so I have posts everyday, I still have fun playing. Also it does suck having to eliminate people. But if someone signs up for it, they need to accept that, I suppose.
simsismybae replied: I would recommend planning more than you think you should. With my mmbc, I planned too little and I've been getting tired of it bc I wasn't ready for the challenge of running one.
nerdiesimmer replied: it's definitely a shit-ton of work but it's also a lot of fun. like simsismybae said, you should really plan beforehand so that you don't sit there and think "what challenge shall i do next?" and in my opinion the most tedious and annoying part is editing all that stuff and writing the dialogue because it's the same stuff seven times in a row

I'm running a special kind of BC which requires a lot of planning though, and not knowing what to do next usually kills my motivation so I don't open the save for months. However with my next similar projects in the future I hopefully won't repeat these mistakes and make it more fun.

This happened to me so many times. I think it has to do with the save bloat. If it gets too big it errors while saving. If it crashes in the middle of the save it corrupts the file. What I absolutely hate about Sims 3.
Wow, well that’s good to know going forward. I’m only on Gen 4 with them now, don’t want to know how big it’s going to be by the time i get to Gen 10. I’ve made several saves and cleaned up the one main one. It’s helped for now. Keeping my fingers crossed for the future!

Eric is so understanding. o.o Mist should be really happy that she found him.
Oh finally, someone who doesn’t hate Eric completely lol! And yes, Mist was extremely lucky to have found someone like Eric. While he may say some stupid things, he did truly care about Mist and Cloud <3 And even in the end he recognized that Sky was her one true love and did the decent thing and left. He was a rare find and I think Mist does recognize that. She is forever grateful for what Eric did for them.

Lol, everyone is so happy to see him go xD This scene was hard for me, I wanted Eric gone so Sky and Mist could be together, but felt really bad for the guy :( He had what he thought was his happy ending ripped away in a matter of a few weeks, gotta feel for him a bit.

Oh geez lol. According to Mist she really thought that Sky had died. I kinda relate to her a bit. She didn’t marry Eric right away, instead held onto hope that Sky would find her, but in the end she was faced with a man who had been there for her and her child for years or someone who may or may not even be alive. Hard to say what I would do, but I can’t blame Mist for what she did. She was trying to secure a safe and happy future for her and Cloud.

I know people have got more serious issues than worrying about which saves I'm posting, but still it feels like an obligation sometimes when I think "maybe they want to see something else from me?". I don't think there's gonna be anyone telling you to keep these saves against your will, just enjoy what you're doing and be happy, this matters the most!
