“Not quite,” She corrected as a mischievous smile tugged at her lips. The SM Christmas party was always something that Hyoyeon looked forward to every year. She enjoyed the festivities and the chance to catch up with her colleagues and friends that she didn’t get to spend much time with throughout the year. “ I thought I’d take a page out of Taeyeon’s book, and get creative. This year my cookie theme is horror and mayhem. D’you like the black eye I gave to that little guy? His buddy to the right is a zombie.” 

The younger’s eyes are widening significantly as he attentively listens to her, a tinge of curiosity running through him as she explains her story. There’s a snicker that’s threatening to leave Sehun, finding himself far too amused over her explanation. Because really, her cookies were outshining his own food item he had brought to the party (a pie) in terms of creativity after another once-over. “Is he now?” By this time, Sehun’s breaking out into a fit of soft laughter, immersing himself in her story. “His buddy had his whole life ahead of him... it’s devastating, really. And I suppose the red icing represents the blood?”

“It’s alright, Sehun-ah-…” Seohyun answered, unable to fully sharpen her dongsaeng’s features out of pure pain. She got stamped on her foot, the impact so intense that the high heel of her shoe simply broke off. Pressing her side against the SM’s corridor the female managed to peel off the grey Weitzman from the damaged limb with trembling fingers, gazing at the stiletto like she just lost a dear friend. The accumulating pain grazed her with urgency. “I just need your help to get to the conference room- And I need ice. No. The ice-pack, please.” With a sheepish grin she faced her hobae. “All is intact. I’m pretty sure only this shoe got broken.”

At the sight of the elder’s expression being contorted into one of discomfort, the younger felt a large amount of regret for even being so careless in the first place. It wasn’t like him to get so distracted while walking, especially in public, but the informative messages about his schedule being put forth into the EXO chat had him mildly distracted when the incident had occurred. His eyes remained widened and alert as he gently held onto her arm to help her steady herself against the wall, both listening to her every command and silently reprimanding himself. “I can get you an ice pack, for sure, noona! And then send you off to the conference room. If you’re late -- I’ll take full responsibility.” There’s a determined look on Sehun’s face, soon being replaced with a frown to reveal his guilt. “Since Christmas is around the corner... I guess a good gift would be a new pair of high heels?” He attempts to break the ice, albeit with a small frown still visible on the youngest’s face as he tends to her every need. “I’m really sorry again, Seohyun noona.”

★ DUMB DUMB: What’s the silliest thing you’ve done while in love?

I’m… actually not sure on this? There are a lot of silly things that I do… I don’t think anything’s silly while you’re in love, though. Especially if the outcome is making the person smile in the long run. But I guess… if I had to name an instance… it might just be putting my own health to the side and focusing all on them? Doing it so much to the point where it also was causing a strain on me. I didn’t mind at the moment, because I was in love. On a light note, I act really childish and pouty while in love. It’s quite silly.

★ LION HEART: Take a look at all of your hairstyles (comeback specific) thus far. Show us your least favorite and tell us why you chose it as such. And lastly, do you forgive your stylist?

This one’s pretty obvious, but I’m going to have to go with, ta-dah, the wolf era. It’s not that I didn’t like the way it looked on me, but more like… it was a hassle and a lot of work to maintain? Plus… all my friends and peers teased me about it for the longest time. Although it was a burden, I do forgive my lovely stylists for it. Now I get a ton of compliments because of it – saying that I’m able to pull off any hair color. So that’s nice to hear.

★ I:  Many do not consider idols to be “real” musicians. How does that  statement make you feel and how would you define a “real musician”?

Statements like these don’t really bother me, because the terms ‘music’ and ‘musician’ are subjective. It varies from person to person. I feel like if one wants to strip away the ‘idol’ title and convince the public that they are quite indeed musicians, then they should work hard in gaining the respect of those around them who believe otherwise. It is possible to be both a musician and an idol, and personally, I feel like a “real musician” is one that puts an immense amount of passion into their music. It doesn’t matter who composed what for someone. Many idols, especially vocalists, chose to pursue their careers because music is their passion. They are constantly putting their all into their work every day. I think that’s my idea of a real musician.

★ THE LITTLE PRINCE: Do you ever feel disheartened when viewing photo shopped images of yourself?

★ A MILLION PIECES: What is your biggest fear while on stage?

A wardrobe malfunction. A slight one is alright and pretty easy to cover up, but I always get this fear that something embarrassing will happen up on stage, and I wont really be able to do much about it. … And then it’ll live on with me… forever. On a more serious note, I think it would be not showing my best side for the fans. I want them to see my improvement more than anything. I want them to be proud of me, of our group, and our group’s dynamic as a whole.

★ DEVIL: Some fans believe that because they financially support the idol they own the idol. What would you say to these fans?

Some fans need to realize that we idols are also human beings as well. They’re not obligated to financially support us in any way, and it’s their choice. Although I do appreciate their support, I believe that some fans tend to take it too far, and they make the experience as an idol stressful and sometimes even unenjoyable. I can’t complain too much, because it’s inevitable, but I would really hope that they can tone things down and support us in a way that makes both us, and them happy. If they also consider our feelings, then the both of us can be happy. And in return, we’ll show them our best up on stage and everywhere else.

★ CALL ME BABY: What’s your relationship with your family like? When was the last time you’ve contacted them?

Despite the constant schedules, left and right, my relationship with my family is actually quite well. And I don’t admit it much, but I’m a bit of a baby who is in constant need of reassurance and loving from those around me. And where else is the best place to get that from? Your family, of course. They’re one of a kind, and I speak with them as often as I can, whenever I’m not busy with schedules. My mom is always nagging me to take care of my health too… ah. But if it’s not my family, then I’m probably tagging along to visit one of my member’s families. I’m very close with all of them.

★ THE LITTLE PRINCE: Do you ever feel disheartened when viewing photo shopped images of yourself?

It’s just part of the industry, right? Nobody’s perfect. Even though photoshop can hide certain blemishes, scars, and all of that, it all gets unraveled in the long run. Viewing photoshopped images is actually quite amusing in my opinion… especially since you know that there’s no such thing as a picture-perfect being, yet we’re all trying hard to achieve that perfect figure. It probably serves more as motivation to me, than anything.

★ DEAR MY FAMILY: What is your honest opinion of SM Entertainment? What changes(if any) would you like to see the company make in terms of management?

SM Entertainment is like any other entertainment company out there – and of course, they all have their perks and flaws. Although there have been a few mishaps in the past, I can only speak for myself when I say that SM Entertainment is a very wonderful company to be apart of. Management is a bit much at times, but the artists that belong to SM Entertainment mainly make the experience a better one. Since there are so many artists, you can run into anyone of them at any given moment, and a majority of the time, they’re very encouraging and supportive. Even though I've lost a lot of good friends, I've also gained a lot of them, as well. I have nothing else to say in terms of management, because they’re only doing what they deem is best for the company as a whole. There are sacrifices that we, as artists, must give up as well, in order to come to a consensus with the company.
