The last time Sirius left to go home without telling her, Chloe got angry, yelled at him, as she normally did when she was upset. So when she went to go find him at his room now that he had returned, and he opened the door after she knocked, the anger suddenly subsided at seeing her friend, a wave of saddness filling her instead. She didn’t say anything, reaching out and instead grabbed him into a hug, using his shoulder to hide her face that was on the brink of tears. ( @smadfoot​ )

Lorcan had snuck into the Gryffindor common room to try to convince Mary to join the quidditch party like any good “boyfriend” should. While their public relationship was fake, he was starting to count her as a friend and enjoyed her company a lot. It was easy to relax and have fun around her, and he was a bit disappointed that she refused to come to the party in the end. He had been hoping that he could have made it fun for her, to get her mind off of the game that they lost, but he didn’t press her any further and a few moments later he exited the portrait to go join the party himself. What he wasn’t expecting was to run into Sirius. “Hey mate,” he greeted casually. He knew he wasn’t his biggest fan, but he wasn’t going to be rude to the guy. ( @smadfoot​ )

👀 Sirius & Blaise

Honestly? The smell of wet dog — the both of them. He really doesn’t know why, especially when Blaise use to smell of warm foods, paint and ink. It wasn’t until recently that his scent subtly changed, something Lorcan can’t quite put his finger on. But it is something that he can ignore, especially since Blaise has stuck with him even after finding out about his vampirism. Not many people would want to share a room with a half-vampire, so he is greatful for his friendship. ( @blanilla )

Sirius has just always smelt of wet dog, and an angry one at that. He really isn’t sure what Mary sees in him, though perhaps love is blind. ( @smadfoot )

👀 Sirius

Chloe had only ever loved once in her life. She never had the love from her parents, particularly her father. He had left her scarred, thinking she could never trust any man in life. It wasn’t until she met Sirius that she felt like she could trust someone again — they both understood each other, she could finally relax around a boy without getting nervous or scared. He became her best friend, her first friend. He made her laugh and even though he was an idiot most of the time, he became her idiot. It wasn’t until years later that she started developing feelings for him, and when he did in turn, she finally felt like she was worth something.

But in the end, it didn’t matter. He ended up liking someone else and once again she was left feeling worthless, that she would never deserve that kind of love. A few months later she would forgive, because even though it didn’t work out, she knows she needs him. She will forever be greatful for him being part of her life, they formed a friendship that would never go away, no matter what. Yet he would ever be a constant reminder of what she wants and needs but cannot have — love. ( @smadfoot )

Alice hushed Sirius as a new song began to play. She hummed gently to the opening music. “Every night in a different bed the ceilings look the same,” Alice sang softly, looking up at him, “Every light leaves a memory. I swear they’re tracing out your name.” (x)
