I just came up with a really fun idea about Rocky discovering geodes. Like what if on Erid, crystals forming inside of someone is their variant of cancer or a severe sickness.

So basically, really dangerous and probably painful to have sharp crystalline things like that slowly pierce the fleshy soft insides of an Eridian.

Rocky, looking at pictures of geodes on the portable think machine: Grace.

Grace, tinkering with something: Yeah bud?

Rocky; Why earth rocks sick, question?

Grace, stopping: what? Earth rocks aren’t sick.

Rocky: Yes yes yes. Look! Sick rocks. Like Eridian.

And so Grace has to explain the probably horrifying concept of “no those are geodes, that’s natural on earth.” Rocky is horrified, statement.

You know how kids will go extremely silent when they’re doing something wrong and that’s how parents figure out their kids are up to something?

Yeah PHM and Iron Lung fans didn’t go quiet at all they screamed BloodyMary from the rooftops and are now shocked Markiplier knows about the ship but like. How could he not.

I find this situation hilarious.

You know what I wanna see/read? More translation errors. For Project Hail Mary, and the fact they were working with TWO different languages, you think there would have been more.

Like, something totally mundane gets absolutely mistranslated, leading to confusion and a potential freakout.

Grace, listening to music: "Oh yeah, this song rocks!"

Rocky: "Why Grace say Rocky's name, question?"

Or like, I feel like the word 'shelled' would mean basically 'murder' in Eridian language, because Eridians have a carapace/shell, so to shell a Eridian is to murder one? Maybe? So example:

Grace in the Don't Go Crazy room, showing Rocky some crabs: "Some creatures on Earth were shelled, so they-"

Rocky who had been interested in the crabs, already panicking: "GRACE PLANET MURDERED THESE CREATURES, QUESTION? BAD BAD BAD."

And so Grace has to figure out why Rocky's panicking, and then once he figures it out, has to explain to Rocky that the Human (English) language has multiple meanings for shelled, and there's also shell, instead of the Eridian shelled = dead.

Because it should be a PROCESS getting everything right for the translator, and then once the two start understanding each other more, translation errors happen way less. Kind of like how things get mistranslated already, with any language on Earth.

I would come up with more examples, but I genuinely cannot since English is my only language I know and so I don't know many translation errors. But yeah. I think this would be neat.

Looking back at scenes from PHM (usually from edits and stuff), I'm realizing just how much I talk and act like Rocky.

Specifically when Rocky's copying Grace's movements and speech, so Like:

Grace: *Hand movement* Two distinct individuals

Rocky: *Hand movement* Individuals

and I'll just copy people as they speak, or if in the sentence someone tells me, has a verb and command, I'll action it? Does that make sense? Because it makes sense to me, it's how you know I'm listening, because I'll verbally repeat the words, and actions as I'm doing the command

Example:

"Smae I need you to run over and turn off the lights"

Me: "Running lighting"

Or:

"Go!"

Me: "Going!"

And even with words that don't make sense:

"Do the dishes"

Me: "Dishing!"

I also make shitty jokes like Rocky does, example being "Best human Rocky ever met"

OH AND I'LL ALSO KINDA BE LIKE

Grace: "I didn't think of that!"

Rocky: "I did"

And I'll do the exact thing too, like "Oh I did! That was me, twas me I'm original"

And honestly I do like when things are slowly explained to me, the puppet show scene is 10/10

And I just really really like Rocky's character with that, I love how much personality Rocky has, and how much I see myself in him? For an alien that is unlivable in Earth's atmosphere, he's so human to me to the point I can understand him more than I can understand most humans (Often have to break apart every little thing, with Rocky, not so much), and I think that's really, really awesome.

Happy pride month y’all! This is day 7, and officially one week, of me talking about different gender identities/sexual orientations.

Since I did pansexual yesterday, I thought I’d do bisexual today since the two often get mixed up with each other.

Bisexual

Bisexual is a sexual orientation that stands for the “b” in lgbtqia+.

Bisexual people are attracted to two or more genders that can be binary or on the nonbinary spectrum.

Often people think the definition of bisexual is the attraction to both men and women, and while this is very common, a bisexual person can also be attracted to all other genders, depending on the bisexual person in question.

(For example, a bisexual person could be attracted to men and nonbinary people, women, men and nonbinary, pangender and female, all genders, the list is endless.)

But then, what makes a bisexual person different from a pansexual person?

From the research, a bisexual person is attracted to the genders, and a pansexual person doesn’t care about genders, but the person instead.

But, since the terms do and can overlap, a bisexual person can also be pansexual, and vice versa.

And that is what a bisexual person is, which as always, is completely valid! Happy pride month y’all.

I just watched the Backrooms and Clark is literally “I sent my therapist to therapy” by Alec Benjamin.

Anyways we are getting banger after banger for movies this year I will absolutely have to reupdate my favourite movies list.

You know what for pride month I think I want to just. Post one different sexual orientation for each day of the month. To spread awareness. I think that would be fun. (Y'all can request any too, and I'll do heavy research and be as accurate as possible! If I am inaccurate in any way, feel free to correct me.)

So! For the first one, I am going to do an aromantic orientation. The meaning of aromantic is ‘feeing little to no romantic attraction.’ SOME Aromantic people can still feel romantic attraction. It can be an umbrella term for many. Now, onto what cupioromantic means.

Cupioromantic

Cupioromantic is a label describing aromatic people who feel little to no romantic attraction, yet still want/desire a relationship with somebody. So they might still attempt to seek out a relationship.

There is also Cupiosexual, which falls under the asexual umbrella. Asexual means somehow who experiences little to no sexual desire. Like aromantic people, some asexuals might still be able to feel romantic attraction a slight pull. Often, aromantic people might be asexual, and vice versa.

Cupiosexual

Cupiosexual people means somebody who might experience little to no sexual attraction, but still desire one/seek one out.

And this is day one of explaining a sexual orientation!
