Mack blushed, "Ok I stayed over at Lucy's but I slept in the guest room. It had it's own en suite"
"Oh shes gone from Miss Brightwell to Lucy over night then. And get you with your own ensuite. Did it have a double shower as well?" teased Ryan.
"Of course not. Time just flew and it was pouring with rain so Lucy said I might as well stay the night. It was completely innocent, we had hot chocolate and marshmallows and nothing else happened"
"Oh yes and pigs really can fly" teased Ryan "we werent born yesterday and we know you have no self control when it comes to a pretty face."
"Believe what you want. I'm off to see Aaron. We are going to Daisy's grave then to the cottage."
"Aaron I've got a confession. said Mack as he met Aaron. "I went to look at Lucy's flat. As you know I might be interested in buying one and it got late so I stayed the night in her guest room"
Aaron flew into a rage "What's wrong with you. You just cant keep it in your trousers can you. You expect me to believe you didnt sleep with her. Bet you couldnt wait to get your hands on her more like it"
"It wasnt like that" pleaded Mack. "I swear we didnt sleep together. I hardly know her"
"As if that would stop you. Well I'm off" yelled Aaron who stormed off slamming the door.
Mack sat down at the table looking around the cottage, and thought all this and I still mess up.
"Who's that at the door? Mack wondered getting up to open it.
"You been crying Mack? asked Aaron quietly.
"Of course I have. I thought I'd ruined everything. I'm sorry if I hurt you but I swear we didnt sleep together. I just wanted to say thank you to her as she was so kind to me at the funeral."
"Yes I did notice. Come here cry baby. I'm so sorry I flew off the handle" said Aaron gently pulling Mackenzie closer and giving him a kiss.
"We ok then? Mack asked nervously.
"Course we are" said Aaron giving him another kiss.
"There's some stuff here Mack. All the furniture and other things. What are you going to do with it all."
"Well I'm going to decorate every room and buy new furniture as this is so old" said Mack.
"Hang on" said Aaron "I reckon this is good stuff it could be antique. Why dont you let Rodney have a look at it"
"That's a brilliant idea Aaron"
"Aaron is right" Rodney said to Mack when he came to have a look "This is quality stuff and it's worth a small fortune. Are you planning on living here?"
"Well it's a bit far out from the village so I was thinking of renting it out."
"Well Mack" said Rodney. "My advice is to rent it to young professionals, it's too up market to take any risks with"
"Thanks Rodney I owe you one". Said Mack shaking Rodneys hand.
Mack hurried back and met Aaron in the pub. "Well Mr. Dingle you are about to change your name to Mingle" Mack told Aaron. "The furniture and land is worth a fortune not counting the cottage. All we have to do is hurry those plans through to show your mum and Marlon and hopefully she will say yes"
"You leave her to me" smiled a very excited Aaron. "Do you know how much I love you Mingle one" said Aaron.
"Not as much as I love you Mingle two" laughed Mack.
