Day 8, bird 8: Short-tailed Pygmy Tyrant... I spent a big chunk of he day working with live, big birds (coping beaks and talons at the raptor sanctuary I volunteer at). Even the American Kestrel was way bigger than this little bird. The doodle CLEARLY doesn’t do it justice, and that’s both a skill gap and a time management issue... sigh.
