It’s weird how I let myself off the hook for 6 months this year. I gave up on fitness and I still don’t know why. I didn’t want to come home and run today. At all. Not even a little. I came home from work and did it though. Did a quick lower body workout and stretched a lot (out in the yard some with that #smallmeow too). I feel so fucking good. No matter WHY you want to work out, do it. If it’s to run a race, or become a competitive lifter, to get stronger or faster, to lose weight for health or any other personal reasons... working out is important. Taking care of your body and your mind is so important. I can feel that fierce wolf coming back and I missed her so fucking much. I am chasing down that anxiety and depression again. Using these runs on the #HalHigdon training program to work through some brain stuff and I can feel it happening already. If you’re on the fence about starting any sort of workouts, do it. Start tomorrow. Start tonight. #feministfitness #RunForYourLife #wolfpack (at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania)
