smallroomswithbigviews replied to your post: “yo, what brass instruments do you play?”:
if you ever get comfortable on either again would you be interested in collaborating via the internet?
ya, for sure!!
yo, what brass instruments do you play?
I play the trumpet and the baritone horn but that's it
I haven't touch my trumpet since I recorded Harbinger so the keys are sticky and I need to do a bit of maintenance on it
I think art, specifically music and film, can bring people together as a group in a somewhat neutral/positive way and create an involuntary sense of solidarity with the people in that group. But I also think it probably just doesn't matter. Just do things that make you and other people happy, thats a pretty good ideology if you ask me. I think art achieves that pretty well.
it's true, but I feel like there's a bigger picture that you're kind of missing, and that's the place of each individual group within the culture.
what's the place for kids who listen to Skrewdriver compared to kids who listen to MDC? some music fosters dangerous ideologies.
