Happy Friday, folks! On our unexpected trip to Illinois a few weeks back, we stopped in at The Vault to check out what was new and replenish our own soap supply. In honor of my company’s first show being in two days, here’s a four year old pic from my college in NYC. | I have not been this nervous for a performance in a long time. Not even for the performing itself, but for the fact that my name is on it (with @lydtothejar ). We are so so so passionate about movement and making it a thing of interest. If you are into dance, come. If you are not into dance, come. You literally will lose nothing— it’s donation based— and you might be moved by one of our various, diverse choreographic works. Our whole goal in starting this company was to get more physicians, teachers, accountants, carpenters, mechanics, secretaries, chefs, adults, children, females AND males to experience dance in ways they never thought they would even want. It’s time to end this classist, elitist vibe about “seeing dance” and bring movement to EVERYBODY. Because it can touch everyone somehow. You just have to come join us and let us try.
