Awesome Shit I Experience (ASIE) #1 - Where You Think You're Goin' Baby?! . . . Getting Lost.

Aight so... if you actually read the shit I post, then you would know about my blog series "Whack Shit I Experience (WSIE)", which are obviously posts about... Whack Shit I Experience... Now, I don't know why I hadn't thought of having a blog series about the opposite of Whack Shit, which is Awesome Shit... but yeah, the shit that went down last night made me realize that I totes should. So umm... here's the first instalment of Awesome Shit I Experience. JUST LETTING YOU KNOW... THIS IS GONNA BE RIDICULOUSLY LENGTHY. So it's either you don't read it, or you gotta read it all. I plan to write all of the Awesome Shit I Experience with as much detail as possible, so in the future, I can look back to them and remember how the awesome shit I experienced really happened. (Also... I'm gonna type a small of this specific post as if I'm a "Valley girl" crossed with a rapper 'cause it's just funnier that way) Last night, I went to a friend's birthday dinner at a Thai restaurant, which was awesome. (Happy birthday again Jeanie!) At the end of the dinner, most of them decided to go to Foggy Dew (a pub) and I didn't wanna go... So, I asked if anyone wasn't going to that and is gonna drive through my area, 'cause if not, I needed commute. (Here comes the Valley girl crossed with a rapper story telling) So Jeanie was like, "I think Amber is yo" And I was like "Yo Amber!" then Amber was like "Yo What up?!" I was like, "Yo... Are you goin' with them?" then Amber says "I can't" Then I was like "Oh right... Are you driving?" Then Amber's all like "Why? Do you need a lift?" And I was like "Bahahaha yeah yo." And Amber's like "Yee" Then I was like "Aight, kew kew" -------- So we get in her car -------- After she pulled out of the restaurants parking lot... Amber: So... which way? 'cause I don't know. Me: Are you joking or do you seriously not know? Amber: Yeah... I actually don't know... Me: Aight, cool, let's just get lost. ('cause last time I got a ride from her, we actually got lost. So I said that as a joke last night, but meant it too) Amber: Bahaha Alrighty -------- 5 minutes later or so -------- Me: Were you actually serious that you didn't know which way to go? Amber: Yeah Me: 'cause you're actually going the right way, and you're near my place already. Haha but yeah, I'm not gonna tell you where to go. Amber: Otays -------- She then makes a left turn (Which is actually the wrong way) -------- 30 seconds later, I remembered that I was craving ice cream (*Side story, when we were eating at the Thai restaurant... I was staring at my Lemon Grass Fish... lifted my head up and randomly said "I want some gelato" bahaha) Anyways... Me: I'm craving ice cream... I want some ice cream. Wanna get some ice cream? Amber: Suuuure... Where?(I think she said it hesitantly... You totes said it hesitantly. bahahaha) Me: Coldstone at Timmy's. Just keep driving straight. -------- 5 minutes later we arrive at Tim Horton's -------- We step up to the Coldstone part of the store to get our icecream. Me: What do you want? Amber: I think I'll just have the Cheesecake Fantasy (Which was Cheesecake ice cream x Graham crackers x strawberries?) Me: Aight cool. -------- So I got that for her and then I got the lady to make me Mint x Mocha x Skor. Then we picked a spot to sit at and eat our ice cream THEN... well... I actually don't remember what we started talking about... like we GOT LOST in our conversation (BAHAHA!) but we ended up having like, REAL TALK, along with stories and what not. Which was awesome. -------- At some point I saw that her ice cream was already half done... while mine was only a quarter... Me: Wow. How do you do that? Eat ice cream so fast. You're crazy. Amber: Yeah... or maybe you're just slow. Me: Actually... yeah that's probably it. Then she asked if I wanted to try it and I did, and naturally, I told her to try mine. She was going to but then... Amber: Oh! I can't... I can't have chocolate. Me: What... Why?... Oh wait... Did you give up chocolate for lent? Amber: Haha yeah... Me: WHAT?! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO YOURSELF?! Amber: We... 'cause... it's like the only thing that I love in the world. (BAHAHAHAHA YEAH SHE SAID THAT) Me: . . . --.--; -------- After all the real talk and story sharing and the ice cream, we obvs left Timmy's -------- Me: So uhh... Did you want me to tell you which way to go now? Amber: Humm... Nope. Me: Haha aight, kew kew. (I don't know when this next thing happens during the night, but I think it was somewhere at this point) When we were passing by this certain gas station... Amber: You know what'd be awesome? If "Call Me Maybe" plays on the radio. ('cause we both really really really really really really really really like the song. *Side story... One of our mutual friends links Amber that youtube video of Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale and others, singing and dancing to Call Me Maybe. Then I butt in... Me: This is my favorite video Amber: Hahaha 0:47 - 1:08... Honestly... Dance party erry time I hear this! Me: ^ Same. AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO DANCE Amber: ^ Same... hahahahaha) -------- Then yeah... I don't know where the fuck we were for the most part... Also, throughout the rest of the night, we were hoping for Call Me Maybe to play on the radio. We also tried calling The Beat (our radio station here) to request the song to be played... but the line was busy all night. I know we were somewhere at Fraser Heights at some point... Then we hit a two way split... -------- Amber: Should I turn right of left? Me: Uhh... iono... right? -------- Yeah, she turns right... and we just kept going straight along that street. Eventually, we stumbled onto a bridge lit by green lights, going across, over the highway. As soon as we saw it, we both reacted with "Whoaaaaaaa". Then we just kept driving along the road, which is parallel to the highway... That road was long... straight... empty... and unlit. -------- Me: Yo... where are we?... This road is so dark... no lights... Amber: *Turns off headlights* Me: YO WHAT?! Amber: *Starts speeding* Me: WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA?! Amber: WE'RE BOTH GONNA DIE! WE'RE BOTH GONNA DIE! Me: *Being a girl* Amber: *Turns headlights back on* Me: You're crazy you know that? Amber: You're such a pansy. BAHAHAHAHAHA -------- We kept driving on this road 'til we hit a two way split... which were both dead ends... So we turned back the same way we came from. -------- Knowing that we were gonna pass the bridge that goes over across the highway lit by green lights... Amber: Wanna go on the bridge? Me: Uhh... can we park around here? Amber: *just parks* (bahahaha) -------- Then yeap, we crossed the bridge and back. We didn't care that it was raining. -------- Getting onto the bridge... Amber: This'll make a cool picture. Me: Yeah. YO LOOK! IT MAKES A WHOLE BUNCH OF "A's" (I thought that was cool 'cause her name is Amber, mine is Aki, our names both start with A's. But yeah... Iono if she realized that's what I was trying to imply, 'cause I don't recall her saying anything in response. BAHAHA) That was the first time I've been on a little bridge that goes across, over a highway. And it was all lit green. That was awesome. Here's the picture she took of the bridge

SEE! LOOK AT THE A's! Epic bridge is epic. -------- Getting off the bridge, heading back to the car -------- Me: You know what'd be awesome? If Call Me Maybe plays on the radio as soon as we get back in the car. Amber: Yeah. (We get in the car. Turn on the radio) *random song plays* Me: Dammit... -------- Then we head off to wherever again -------- Me: Dude, I don't wanna kill your gas anymore Amber: Yeah I gotta gas up Me: Aight, after you get gas, just find a chill spot, where we could just wait out for Call Me Maybe to play on the radio -------- She actually ended up going to the gas station we passed by like, 2 hours earlier, near the Tim Horton's we were at. After filling up, as we were driving away from the gas station... -------- Amber: OH HEY HERE'S A HUGE, EMPTY PARKING LOT! Me: Yee let's chill here. We're not going home 'til the song plays. -------- We sat there for about 5 minutes, doing nothing but constantly changing radio stations when Amber switches onto a radio station STUMBLING ONTO CALL ME MAYBE! -------- Amber: THERE IT IS! THERE IT IS! THERE IT IS! Me: AHHHHH! SICK! Then Amber starts driving insanely to wherever again, except this time WE WERE BOTH SINGING OUT LOUD WHILE "DANCING". BAHAHAHAHAHA! -------- After the song ends... -------- Me: Well... there... it happened. Amber: That was awesome. Me: That was awesome. -------- Then she drops me off at my place -------- Me: Well, that was an awesome random three hour adventure. THEN IONO WHY THE HELL I GAVE HER A HANDSHAKE, it wasn't even one of those like "cool" handshakes... it was just a normal handshake. BAHAHAHHAHA. I am so weird. Amber: What the hell was that? Make it "gangster" at least. (BAHAHAHA) Then we do the whole *slap each other's hands, pull 'em back then fist bump* Me: That was lame. We gotta come up with a handshake for us now... so that the next time we hang out, we could use it! Amber: I can't right now.I can't be creative 'cause my brain's pretty dead. (So yeah, we ended up not making one 'cause we were like, brain dead.) Me: Haha aight, but yeah... that was awesome. You're cool. Amber: You're not too shabby yourself. -------- THE END
