Hellooo, so, I’m sharing my small town verse oc’s so far:

💃 Frankie (Francesca) Van Herten (fc: Madelyn Cline):

♡ Frankie used to be the captain of the volleyball team back in high school, member of the theater club and took classes at the dance studio (which is what really makes her happy)

♡ She came back to town two months ago after graduating from college (she studied marketing after her parents insistence)

♡ She is determined and strong willed. Someone who likes being direct and taking the initiative (except she has problems doing this when it comes to her parents).

♡ Frankie is also a social butterfly and she genuinely cares about the people around her, especially those who are important for her.

♡ Frankie's father is a doctor and her mum is a lawyer. They both used to be big names back in the city but moved to the town when Frankie was around 7 years old after an important case caught the media attention and the resolution left Frankie’s mum with negative press. They both are really talented at what they do, her mum just got really bad luck, so that’s why they moved to a town where they knew a lawyer was needed.

♡ Her parents really care about her but they are really dedicated to their work and not always present. However they insist she needs to move to the city if she wants to become “someone important in the world” and are really pushy about it. Frankie has tried to explain multiple times she doesn’t want that, she loves the life in the small town and what would make her really happy is to teach dancing (they obviously pretend not to listen lol)

♡ Despite their insistence to move to the city right after she graduates, she has been able to convince them about staying 1 year in the town while she works for her mother office before moving away

♡ Frankie has had a crush on her friend Daphne older brother since she first saw him at the age of 11 but is convinced he sees her as nothing other than her “little sister friend” even after she comes back from college (please they are SO dumb, someone punch them in the head). She tries to convince herself she has moved on, but “sure, hon”

♡ Currently looking for more friends! Maybe some girls from the dance studio or volleyball team?

🧠 Mina (Wilhelmina) Kyung (fc: Rosé):

♡ Mina is the textbook definition of smart at brains, dumb at heart AND dumbass lesbian lol

♡ She is an extremely nice girl and the perfect daughter; has no problem in helping others when needed. However she can be a little awkward at first, getting a little tongue tied at times but tries to play it cool ✌️ (yes I inspired her a little in Amy from Booksmart lol)

♡ Sometimes that comes as a problem because she works at the local diner and she can’t get tongue tied for too long if she wants to take people orders. But she needs the job to make ends meet so she will pull through

♡ She had perfect grades at high school and was probably her class valedictorian. After it she had multiple scholarships from Ivy League colleges but had to decline all of them when she found out her mum was sick (her father abandoned them when Mina was around 5 years old)

♡ All of these things put a lot of frustration inside of her, but tries to push it away in favor of her mother’s sake.

♡ She really loves photography, her most valuable possession is her grandma’s old camera. Probably also knows how to play the guitar lol

♡ When the old family car breaks down, good girl Mina gets more than she bargained for when the only available employee is a cute girl who also happens to be a gang member 😳

🎨 Dani (Danielle) Gwon (fc: Seulgi):

♡ She is the new person from the city who moves into town. Everyone can tell she is from the big city and wonder why someone like her would move to such a small town

♡ Dani is a talented artist. She created a stunning art piece as a present for her fiance, however he copyrighted it, sold it (which made him rich) and dumped her.

♡ This obviously shook Dani’s entire life. She was completely co-dependent of him and this broke her into million pieces, falling into depression and making feel empty and without inspiration. 

♡ Despite trying to pretend everything is okay, the situation clearly left her really closed off and scared of getting hurt again

♡ The art piece was talked about in almost every media outlet with her ex-fiance face appearing everywhere; she needed to escape all the memories the city held

♡ Dani remembered seeing some time ago a painting about a certain place that gave her the feeling of peace and happiness, after some investigation she discovered it was this town. Hoping to find that peace and hopefully get inspired, she decided to move.

♡ Little did she know she would be meeting the artist of said art piece running his own art gallery! 👀 

♡ Currently looking for someone to become her friend!

⛸️ Sam (Samantha) Yung (fc: Jinsoul):

♡ Sam’s father is the town sheriff and her mum owns multiple buildings all around town (so she is basically a landlady?)

♡ Sam has taken advantage of her parents position her entire life, becoming used to getting out of trouble easily. This has made her entitled, manipulative,  reckless and vain, as she is used to getting away with what she wants

♡ I know this is a coast town, but it has an ice rink and Sam has been doing figure skating there since she was 5 years old. Right now she works there part time as a coach and choreographer after an accident

♡ She takes dance classes at the local studio and is in college on the neighboring town

lola is a hopeless romantic, always chasing the next person that could be her significant other. she has the tendency of shaping her personality to fit whomever she’s after, often setting herself up for disaster and heartache. most of her relationships/crushes have ended in a short amount of time, always leaving her completely heartbroken and with a diminished sense of self. 

she’s an academic with a passion for mathematics and biology. due to her intelligence and high grades, lola was able to gain a scholarship to a private highschool (cough chilton cough) and she took it after her fall out with grayson. 

lola is bubbly, incredibly friendly and a bit oblivious, especially when it comes to love. she craves romance so much but cannot see what’s right in front of her (with grayson and later with andrew). her parent’s owns the local diner where she sometimes work part-time, and later full-time in between high school and university. she can be a bit self-centered, often relying on grayson for selfish reasons and a crybaby. 

avid reader, chess player, scrapbooker, eats at least 2 pastries a day, will smile at you if you lock eyes with her at the grocery store. she has an older sister that is still tbd ♡

despite being somewhat shy, the town all know grayson to be adventurous, playful and easygoing. it’s not often you’d see him wearing a frown or looking upset. his smarts and looks made him really popular in highschool but he was always beside lola, no one ever saw another girl get closer to him than her. where she was, grayson was there too, and vice-versa. it had been that way for over 16 years. at some point, everyone was hoping they’d finally make things official and start dating, grayson included. but it never happened.

so grayson got himself a girlfriend, someone to make lola jealous. it backfired big time. the two had the worst fight of their lives, screaming at each other, always dancing around words neither could dare say. and they didn’t, which made everything worse. at that time, lola had gotten a scholarship from another highschool, so she decided to distance herself from grayson. 

grayson feels like he was screaming his feelings for her loud but lola never really noticed him that way. when andrew comes into town, he becomes bitter and a bit of an asshole. 

he’s smart and very good academically (almost with no effort). the middle child of 3. close to his siblings but with billie especially! the swim team’s star. later goes to med school. he part-times at the local bar/restaurant. comic book nerd and music enthusiast. grayson would often sneak out of class and drag lola with him, she’d remind him he’s ruining her ivy league career but lola always went anyway. he misses her but his pride and heart are way too hurt. 

despite their fall out, they do make amends eventually (after lots of arguing and tears and more time apart) and i’d love to see gracie fall in love with someone that treats him right. 🥺
