Is your work inspired by elements of nature? What draws you in and propels you forward when looking at or making art? 🕸 My current show @pastineprojects includes pieces from a series called My Abstracted Garden, an idea that sprung from digging in the soil and listening to nature. I relish getting lost in the garden where my attention is focused solely on planting, pruning, clearing, and shifting things around. 🍃 The Abstracted Garden pieces stem from a life-long personal curiosity about nature and my fascination with its immense power and beauty. But truly, it’s the little things in the garden that continue to draw me in – the rustle of the wind or shimmer of due in the morning—it’s like magic in motion! ✨ I hope you’ll stop by Pastine Projects to see the exhibition Affinities, which also includes the work of New York artist Lenard Rosenfeld. The show is on view thru December 11. Link in my bio for more info. 🌸 Images: My Abstracted Garden III, 2020, 15” x 12”, Acryla Gouache, fabric, felt, yarn, on paper.
