I really like Guruh Gypsy album. This was the song that introduced me to the album. This song called Smaradhana and was sung by Chrisye. In the original album, Smaradhana was sung by...um, I forgot. This version was in Chrisye's album "Sabda Alam".

My father told me that at that time, the music video was really cool. With people dancing and stuffs, I can imagine it. But when I searched on youtube, there is no music video of this beautiful song, it was really disappointing me. I'm not too certain, but I think this song was telling us about the passionate love of Kamajaya and Kamaratih as the story of those two was told in a book with same title, Kakawin Smaradhana.

The lyrics was really poetic and beautiful. I'm not quite sure what Guruh Soekarnoputra meant when he wrote this lyrics, but I love it.
