Sonic is not dumb and I can prove it, in this pic sonic quite literally thought fast, he knows his strength, he knows that he can take a super badnik out and that he also has to deal with the other robots so he tells tails to deal with it cuz tails is the smart guy
Another thing is that he acts dumb so his enemies underestimate him, cuz if u put urself in sonic's enemies shoes, some blue guy who runs really fast and is just stupid, who wouldn't think getting rid of him is easy
And tails knows how smart sonic is because when he say that the attack was a lot more coordinate, he knows sonic is suspicious too but sonic acts like he isn't because of either 2 things, to act dumb so his enemies won't see him coming or because he doesn't want tails to worry (which I think is far more cuter) once he gets caught he loses his face and agrees with tails
and this is just a cute panel u wanted to share, also conforms my hc that sonic and tails have a point system on how many badniks they defeat in a week
