*the youngest of adults (155 years old by the moment good!Smurfette moved in the Smurfvillage
*Not the smartest ass (№4, actually), therefore, not Brainy. His role is keeping the high level of morality with smurfs (ask his bruises how good he is in it :)) and preserving cultural traditions. He and Poet also monitor the safety of books in the library, renew if necessary
*Talking about library... Few decades ago, in the result of one of Gargamel's attacks his house was ruined. No smurf wanted to share the house with him, so, they settled Moralizator in the library... He still lives there (at least, the only place he's quiet)
*fond of ecology (in smurfs culture ethics and ecology is the same thing as smurfs don't see the difference between being kind to each other or to animals & plants) and linguistics (the only subject he's writing books about in this au)
*Until the adolescence his only friends were books and tadpoles. Now, hangs out with Jokey, Lazy, Vanity, Grouchy (mostly), nerds, Poet, Greedy and Hefty (less). Also a friend with Wild but they not often see each other
*Detects most of Gargamel's traps and announce if it's a trap but smurfs don't listen or even check the path on him, anyway, he comes with them. I mean, really, look at comics: he literally can go into a trap, mumbling "it's a trap, it's a trap". wtf? is being a part of company THAT important than survive, you, depressed bean?
*Hypocrite: at least once tried to cheat ("King Smurf"). And he was having a black strand for hypocrisy (locates the same as for the lying) but was hiding it with hair dye
*bright lilac strands from Jokey's best pranks
*the self-esteem is unstable. After Vanity's therapy "Let's teach you to love themselves" it gets extremely high, before - it's on "I don't deserve to live"
*member of Magical club. Natural magic is about Death world and ghost stuff. It's inspired by the link between poor eyesight and the death in the human culture, and how many times Moralizator was kicked to the coma. For the last one: I bet ghosts and demons already meet him as a friend.

Jokey.
*about mid' 160 years old
*has black strands for lying (in the fringe) and violence (in the tail). Both from pranks, obviously. Also had one for stealing (by a force) ("The Jewel Smurf" comics).
*He was fine with his black strands, escaping his bad feelings with jokes, but over time Jokey starts using more anecdotes, puns & sarcasm than pranks and the problem was solved by itself
*Found out the Moray's dark secret when he was about prank him dyeing his strand or two black.
They were playing "I can fix him. I can make him better/I can make him worse" for 4 decades and those black hair roots meant Jokey has won. Jokester was celebrating, and encouraging Mr. Glasses "hey! having black strands isn't so bad! but, okay, if you want so, I won't tell anysmurf", also dropped words about "forget about the rules for a while, try to say what you actually think about some Papa's orders" and accidently he helped to solve hypocrisy. exactly in front of the Leader. fiasko, bro. here you go again...
*quest-enjoyer, pyromaniac
*The funniest thing ever about Jokey is him being the smartest smurf of his generation in the village. Just after the HLIT results smurfs decided, "well, then we can ask advices from Jokey when Papa's busy". It was a fatal mistake. Jokey has been having fun with giving ridiculous, absurd advices for 2 days. (vibes of "magic egg" comics/episode)
*knows about Alchemist's crush (thanks @bluebluebluewoods for the idea of the ship) and uses it to get some potions for his pranks
*has a lot of hidey-holes in the village and in the forest where he can hide himself/surprises. Patrol Smurf sometimes finds them and reports others
*Grew long hair as a support for the Vanity's protest for the right to beauty (hairstyle №4 didn't exist before) along with Painter, Poet, Grouchy (before he became Grouchy).
And as I ship them I picture them as a family:
*Smurfs: Bah! I bet Moralizator's first kiss would be on his marriage
Meanwhile Moralizator: *secretly makes a baby with Jokey*

*They prepared the quest for their wedding (guests hated it). And they got married literally few years before make a 2nd bean, like, "darling, I have a feeling we forgot something..." - "meh, so, it's not important"

*Jokey is waking up the family, Moray is lulling

*but both give a morning smooch and a goodnight embrace to their beans because "yep, we two are the most hated smurfs in the village, so, if he's gonna be bullied, at least, he would know we love him much"
*gave smurflings' temporary (kid) names from their marks (pointless for them but is useful to other parents to not take the wrong baby). These names are double due to the absent of a common theme between parents. Smurflings will be given their true names eventually
*both kids with lilac blue hair and good eyesight

*both parents use an enormous amount of papers, so, origami is his main entertainment (especially when he is grounded). Once he angered mom for using all papers he prepared for a new book on origami figures, and hence was sent to make new. However, he found this process interesting, so, in 85 got his true name
*was told that he was planned child (no)
*bff is Cake (ChefxGreedy's). When he is pissed at Lazy's "help" in gathering food, Inkfire comes to give Lazy a lesson
*he and Orphan[1] hate each other; also their age difference only 5-10 years
*common mode: Moray 2.0 BUT IF YOU ANGER HIM, Jokey's attacking mode is activated. He can even ask dad for a good idea to take a revenge of Orphan or teach Lazy a gooood lesson

*Mushroom smurfs gave him name "Swimmer", but he is going to move in the underwater village were seashell smurfs name her "Dolphin". In the culture of this village smurfs use pronouns "she/her", so, Swimmer Smurf (he) => Smurfdolphin (she)
