I just really wanted to share this. So the past couple of years have been merciless hell for me and especially these last few months. I was introduced to tori amos a month ago by my director and I have found I have such a connection to the little earthquakes album. Especially to Me And A Gun. Tori's music has been helping me through an incredibly hard journey and I jus wanted to express this to somebody. I listen to the little earthquakes album on days when I don't think I can function. It helps
I hope you start to feel better soon. I know it’s difficult, but if you can find solace in something why should it not be Tori’s music? Her music is so eloquent and whilst in many ways idiosyncratic to her own experiences, often the suffering she speaks of is universal. That song is one of the most powerful she’s ever created, I must agree. I’m glad her music is bringing you a source of comfort and release during this awful time.
