A small form stood at the mouth of the tunnel, dripping and observing the heavy rain falling just outside. She was soaked, to say the least; normally untameable hair wettened into submission. Rinnah pursed her lips and looked to the sky. There was no break in the clouds that she could see, and it felt like the poor weather would last for some time. Her head then turned to look further into the dark, and there was a faint warmth that came from it.

Blindly traversing underground, or into any unknown place, was not always the best of decisions, but catching cold wasn’t the best of fates for someone on their own. There was one last glance toward the downpour, before the skin changer turned on her heel, and began walking further into the mountain.

Where sight failed, she was forced to rely more on touch and sound, until golden beams trickled in. Rinnah cautiously approached the warm light, and was surprised to see hills of treasure all about the massive cavern. Lips pursed, brows furrowing at the sight. Her kind had never seen value in such things, and to actually see gold and jewels hoarded? It was quite bewildering.
