now that trump is basically being handed another presidency in a perfectly wrapped bow, i cannot help but yet again lament on how insufferable folks will be super eager to point fingers at ~the left~ for being ineffective and unwilling to compromise their Purity Politics and praising conservatives for their ability to stick together instead of confronting the actual truth of the matter, which is that the dems and most vocal liberals had multiple chances and endless resources to actually engage with potential voters in marginalized groups, lean into what they labeled 'fringe issues', utilize their more "progressive" members and even try to appeal to folks who left the republican party and voted blue or third-party for the first time, but instead chose to slam the gate shut and antagonize their base.

I have tons and tons of feelings recently about the dynamics grown-ups have with kids online and how hypocritical some 'leftists' have been towards their responsibilities when interacting w/ literal children, but I'm back in school so I have literally no time nor headspace to conceptualize them rn...

So I'll just say - cyberbullying and sending death threats to teens or making weird-ass tiktoks shit-talking them because they have the nerve to express opinions you don't like or are just being shitty teenagers on the internet, does nothing and contributes absolutely nothing to the movement (whtvr that is) and is just plain cruel and dare i say, demonic.

I don't know how things are going to end this year as far as trump antics go, but all I know is that come 2021 the 'hold-them-accountable' crew better keep that same "kids in cages" energy!
