four shifts into my new job and i really really like it. i feel so lucky to be working at one of the best restaurants in the city (arguably, although there is a lot of competition, the food scene here is amazing) when i have less than a year of experience cooking professionally. i am already learning so much and am so excited to be able to apply those skills to creating my own dishes eventually. my coworkers also seem very very cool and i get on well with them and everyone seems to like me. one of the kitchen managers (equivalent to a sous chef basically) is nonbinary too #diversitywin. but yayyy yippeeeee
