it had been months now. the virus hit and months later, you were still foraging for supplies and running from zombies. you'd lost sight of souya a day ago ; mitsuya had left to find food ; mikey was long gone.
shakily, you walk through the deserted store with your handmade weapon ready in front of you. whimpers were coming from your left as you left the medicine aisle - you shouldn't have followed the noises, but you did.
"angry, shit." the blue-haired boy was laying on the ground, bites decorating his body and blood pouring from his wounds. he let out a cry at the sight of you, trembling hand held out for help. "is this where you've been? c'mon-"
a shriek leaves his lips as his neck twists. silence ensues and you just stare. nahoya was behind his brother, skin tinted green and a visible bite on his hand having veins protruding from it. he grins your way, red blood dripping in his teeth.
you gulp, "smiley. thought you- you died. for good."
"i'm hungry, yn." he breathes. inching closer to you before he's knocked you onto your back, weapon thrown across the room. it happened too fast - he came at you too quick to fight him off. "so hungry. gonna feed me?"
"so, am i next?" you're choking on your tears as he curls his fingers around your neck. "first your twin and now me? thought you loved us, 'hoya."
smiley lowers himself lower, teeth teasingly latching onto your cheek before he releases your skin. "love to eat more."
and then he unhinges his jaw.
