I just had the most surreal experience with a Japanese girl who asked me to call her Crazy Marie. She called us smoking friends and we shared cigarettes, which she was excited by. I let her finish my cigarette. For her, everything was awesome; the fact that people called me Jones (which she described as masculine) was so cool. She asked me if I could find a book on phenomenological study for her (I recommended an introduction to Edmund Husserl). She also said, “My first language is Japanese, my second language is dance, and my third language is English.” She said people call her Crazy Marie because she’s crazy about everything. She said she’s even crazy about me. I’m definitely some kind of in love with her.
Is this a rule or a suggestion?
