Vulpin Plays Super Mario Maker, Discovers Possible Goomba Addiction
I’m not sure if you’re randomly assigned a few Mystery Mushroom costumes to get you started or not, but whatever the case may be one of the ones made available to me once I unlocked the Mystery-shroom was a Goomba. In fact, the Goomba was the only none-scenery piece initially available to me.
Point is, I got it into my mind to create a series of courses centered around being a Goomba. Thus far, I’ve only made two I feel are worthy of uploading to the SMM community.
The first is simply entitled “Remain Goomba,” which should be rather self-explanatory. (Course ID 1359-0000-00E6-8DAC).
The second is called “The Mind of Goomb.” (ID EF36-0000-00EB-234C). It’s not as cleverly constructed as Remain Goomba and doesn’t quite convey the theme I was aiming for, but it’s still a cohesive level given I made it only shortly after unlocking sub-areas and doors.
Another level I’m inordinately proud of, but not involving Mario-as-Goomba, is “The Floor is Goomba!” (ID CF02-0000-00E3-CAE7). Goombas cover the ground, more rain from pipes on the ceiling, and there’s a single Star power-up that makes the level a one-up festival but requires timing and luck to safely grab.
Go check them out, and maybe give one or two of them a star, please. I would like to be able to upload more than 10 courses. They won’t all be Goomba-themed, I promise.
