What’s interesting is the original ending pose ends with one hand behind the back, with the other extends sideways. Jk, instead, chooses to end his pose the same way Tae did. They’re in different countries but ended the challenge with the same pose 😭

Also, someone noted it looks like Tae is “inhaling” and Jk is “exhaling” at one segment of the challenge. Whether that was coordinated between the two, I’m obviously not sure, so everyone should decide as they like, but I found it interesting and wanted to make a note of it (the links below better demonstrate vs the still)

Random kpop opinion:

I've never been so embarrassed and confused since I came into this kpop world I guess, as I am watching videos of Idols doing the smoke challenge. I learned about the challenge from Tae and Jungkook obviously and objectively speaking, they ate. They each did it their own way, I don't know if you understand that but the rest of kpop? At least the ones I've seen? What the hell is that?! Some of them I couldn't even finish watching because of the second hand embarrassment I felt 😩😩

Regarding JK's Smoke challenge-- he did a great job!

There is an American style of dance called krumping which is made up of strong, sharp, and almost unnatural-looking movement.

I'm being totally honest when I say I have no clue where the og challenge came from or what it's supposed to look like 🙈.

I just wanted people to know that there's a real style of dance that looks like this, and JK incorporated parts of it beautifully! It's okay if it's not everyone's cup of tea.
