i hate that smokescreens been reduced to a therapist for jazzprowl in most of the fics hes tagged in. like. last time i checked he most certainly was NOT a therapist. last time i checked he was the autobots diversionary tactician.

also his secondary role is way more interesting. hes the guy that reports to optimus on what the rest if the autobots are up to. LIKE. ARE WE JUST GONNA SHOVE THAT OFF TO THE SIDE IN FAVOR OF HIM BEING A THERAPIST? WHICH HE ISNT? THATS SO BORING.

he has so much potential and it makes me sad to see that its just going to waste.

i think "the gambler" is one of the funniest g1 episodes, not because it has a lot of animation errors or an incomprehensible story. i think its funny because of the message it ended up sending.

smokescreen gambles his friends away, fails at winning them back, apparently tells optimus what happened, and what does optimus say? he goes, "well i didn't remember any of that." and when smokescreen asks if they can go gambling, optimus says "sure, why not!"

like smokescreen doesn't even get told "hey maybe we shouldn't go gambling again" by optimus and it makes me laugh every time i think about it

where did the whole "prowl, smokescreen, and bluestreak are from praxus" thing come from?

yes, BLUESTREAK is from praxus, but prowl's from petrex and it never says where smokescreens from.

also where did the "all transformers with prowl's build are from praxus" come from because now you're straight up just lying

whenever they decide to start writing the next show/comic/movie i'll brainwash all the writers and make them add smokescreen into it and then when everyone watches/reads it theyll all be like "wow oh my gosh smokescreen is so cool" and then everyone will start writing fanfiction and drawing fanart of him

we all gotta start thinking about smokescreen together. hes such a great character and should have his own mini-series focused on him.

Probably a good thing I stick to wfc trilogy, rare pairs and barely noticed characters. Less drama to deal with.
