What if in one of those de-aged around the justice league and everyone learns that Cap had an awful childhood fics Billy actually gets aged up in the sense that he somehow magically switch places with his future 21 year old self

and in this situation agedup! billy is super hungover (he doesn’t usually drink but he just graduated college and he didn’t think that was possible so sue him) so the league is shocked when they see him hunched over and just going through it and somehow this convinces the league that Cap was a alcoholic when he was younger and thats why he never goes out and drink with them

meanwhile 12 year old homeless billy is just having a grand time with his agedup! siblings and friends. Seeing that he gets life together and manages to get his degree really gives him a lot of hope not to give up the Billy part of his life to be captain marvel 24/7

Batman: Mary and Junior told him he can’t come play with us for a week since we had alcohol at one of our parties

Flash: “can’t play with us”??? isn’t cap and grown man??? and aren’t Mary and Jr like 12?

Batman: I suppose it is probably difficult for understand since we do not have older siblings

This is Mary Marvel she runs a charity and has donated thousands of dollars of money to helping the poor. She builds homes for the homeless feeds the hungry, reads to sick children, supports free healthcare. She is the most terrifying person I know and everyday I live in fear that I might upset her. This is Captain Marvel Junior he’s committed several war crimes, is on the no fly list and is banned from most counties. They tried to give him the death sentence but nothing they could had could possibly touch him. Isn’t the cutest little guy ever I love him so much he’s my best friend I don’t know where I’d be without him!

In the forties Captain Marvel and Superman both had live action serials and captain marvel had practical effects for his superpowers while superman had animation to show off his powers of flight and to show bullets bouncing off him

Also My Captain Marvel fun facts are far more popular than my superman ones either I'm not doing tags very well or Tumblr just likes Billy Batson over Clark Kent

This is kind of a new thing for me maybe I'll keep trying to post superhero stuff including more than superman and captain marvel but I'll prefer to making a single fun fact post every day than two. I hope that people really like my posts and intend to keep it up

Turning from zero to hero

While secret identities are an integral part of superhero mythos Billy Batson took it a step beyond being a child like most of the readers of his comics. This was replicated by Miracle Man (Marvel man) who was almost a one to one copy of Billy Batson and then Captain Mar-Vell of marvel comics was linked to Rick Jones as his civilian identity and later Ben 10 who went even further and had multiple hero forms.

Not only is it a more effective for a secret identity than a pair of glasses (I actually like the glasses) but it means that the superhero can be more relatable to their audience without people in story questioning why a child is risking his life to save others.
