There are pieces of media that I found either horrible or barely tolerated.

Oddly enough, said pieces of media have introduced me to some very particular Ao3 tags and/or to some amazing actors that I like to this day.

Like, Twilight introduced me to the fact that I'm picky about my supernatural beings. But it also introduced me to Robert Pattinson (who I think is hilarious) and Jackson Rathbone (who makes an interesting serial killer)

Vampire Diaries confirmed for me that immortals entering "romantic" relationships with high-school students makes me extremely uncomfortable.

For some reason, the whole ordeal made me less uncomfortable in Buffy? Probably because Angel seemed pretty uncomfortable himself. And because Buffy Summers is the closest thing to a trained professional, a supernatural teen-drama was going to get.

Teen Wolf introduced me to Tyler Hoechlin (who is just adorable) and Dylan O'Brien (who actually had amazing presence)

It also confirmed my aversion to convoluted plots that don't make sense in the pre-established canon.

My old roommate calls Teen Wolf the "collection of unreasonably hot dads/dad like figures and older men in general." She isn't wrong. For a teen show, there were overwhelming amounts of hot older men.

I'm stuck in about seven different Fandoms right now. As in, seven Fandoms I'm actively reading fics of.

This is stuck in my brain! And not just because the first edit I saw was of Mads Mikkelsen.

Anyway, yeah.

There are so many ships that would fit this song.

I love fics in which Dickie and Jason are adults and Jason is somehow, by far, the adultier adult.

Like that man is a beefy (maybe solo, maybe snatched up by a red-haired single father) househusband.

A one man army of homemaking. And a one man army in general.

Does he have issues? Absolutely!

Can he meal prep like nobody's business? Yes, siree!

Can he make your toddler crave vegetables? Yes! (Although, that's easy. The secret formula is dip)

Meanwhile Dickie still lives like a college student. Not because he can't cook or anything, but because he lives alone and can't be bothered.

The only reason this man has real food in his kitchen is through the combined efforts of Alfred, Jason, and maybe some morally questionable older man (usually Slade, that man is an excellent cook. Sometimes, it's Midnighter and Apollo, who are generally functional adults).
