Just binged Smoking and now I’m watching Promise Cinderella and it’s so criminally underrated how there’s nothing about Haccho and Koya and none of my friends understand me - chishiyainborderlands

Haccho is literally everything a person could want in a character. Pathetic. Wet. Traumatized. Wearing a suit (sometimes.) Silly. Father figure. Gun. Intense homoerotic tension with his male best friend. Eats corn dogs. Pretended to buy weed to complete a job (he's a hitman.) Everybody is SLEEPING ON THIS MAN and I cannot BELIEVE he hasn't stolen the hearts of everyone on this site.

Koya is a harder sell. Episode one, he was a little.........UHHHHH questionable. But the 180 on him was real. I wanna hang out at his tea house. I want him to be my fake therapist like he is for everyone else on that show. I wanna shop where he shops because bitch was lowkey slaying. What an exceedingly silly man. King of gossip. I think he should've hung out with the grandma more, I think they would've had fun together.

But @chishiyainborderlands you are SO COOL and SO RIGHT to be enjoying these shows, and I'm SO EXCITED you came to tell me about it

(PS: If you haven't seen it already, he's great in "Followers." I would unironically trust Yuruco with my life.)

We need to tall about Haccho.

I guarantee you it takes this man at least three hours to get ready before a job.

He's gotta shower. He's gotta shave. He's gotta do his skincare routine (don't tell me he doesn't at least use a vitamin c serum). He's gotta style his hair, because heaven forbid a single strand falls out of place while he's literally fighting for his life.

And then, the outfit. That shirt better be starched, that suit better be pressed, or else he's going to have to get the iron out and do it himself—he's already gotta re-shine his shoes, he'll just make a whole damn event out of it. Takes that man fifteen minutes to get the Windsor knot on his tie just right. Check the buttons on his jacket, make sure there aren't any loose threads.

...And, best of all, he'll tell you it only takes him "like, half an hour" to get ready.
