BREAKING NEWS, 9AM NEWS!
Good morning to everyone tuning in today. It seems that the world has truly turned upside down in these brand new times. With the government mandated and required testing, we’ve seen an utter turn around in -- well -- almost everything. Our station, itself, has lost about six staff members due to the law, and the changes that the re-testing has brought upon America has not stopped there.
Senate has revealed that almost one third of the Dominant seats have been mis-marked, either through the Switch clause, or through illegal manners. Investigations are now undergoing all the mis-markings, as over 35% of America was shown to be incorrectly marked. Many people are shocked to find out the Switches that they were in claims with aren’t actually Switches anymore. Courts remind those in these difficult times that all claims between two submissives, and all claims between two Dominants will be automatically null and void.
The President himself has not yet released a statement about these issues, nor over the fact that his son was also incorrectly marked as a Dominant. However, he has scheduled a press conference tonight about the changes that the government as well was the rest of America have been facing tonight starting at 8PM. We will be showing it live, for those who would like to tune in.
For those who have refused to go to any of the remarking times, warrants have been issued- local police state- and though our jails seem to already be overcrowded, they plan on bringing in as many as possible within the following week.
Police also urge, to help investigations, for those of you who were mismarked to step forward and give any information about who your test was with, or any other information that can help them seek justice on your behalf, as well as behalf of the injustice to the marking system.

RULE UPDATE.
As everyone knows, this roleplay doesn’t actually have rules, mainly because us as admins don’t consider it to be an official group. It’s just a bunch of friends writing with each other in a slightly somewhat organized setting. I will say, however, that there’s been a tad bit less interactions going on between people that aren’t ship related. I’ve also been noticing people posting starters, while not replying to others’ starters.
So we’re going to instill some rules that should be treated more or less like.. guidelines (that we really hope you’ll honor and go with) because like I said, the only real rule is be active every week on at least one character.
If you haven’t been on the character in awhile, reply to starters from other people before making your own. Interact with each other. Instead of liking posts in the social tag, actually comment as your character on them. Engage, engage, engage. Once you’ve replied to at least three starters, you can make your own. If you’re a sideblog character and you still want to reply to something, just do it as your main blog but put -Character name by the comment. (ie: ‘Those flowers look lovely, Cordelia! - Jaymes’) Not every social post can be commented on, of course, because sometimes, characters don’t have anything to say, but there’s always a rhyme and reason as to why a person posts that and they want characters to reply or interact with them because of that photo/video/post. So please, don’t let people feel like they did the wrong thing, or that no one cares!
Characters shouldn’t exist solely for their ship partners. We’ve had quite a few complaints, including about myself, about bubbling or not even remotely interacting with anyone that isn’t your ship partner (for instance: Cee literally only talks to Jasmine and I need to stop that). I get it’s hard to expand out of your comfort zone with characters, but there needs to be other interactions with other characters. It’s getting to the point where we’ve had numerous complaints about the way people treat their characters as solely there for ships and it’s bothering people, so let’s step up and remember that this is a roleplay akin to ‘real life’. We all exist outside of relationships, let’s make sure to remember our characters do as well!
The first two ‘rules’ we set up will really enforce each other and help hand in hand with those of you who have characters who you feel don’t exist outside of shipping. We’re hoping that it’ll help have people on all of their characters more.
That’s really it. No one’s directly in trouble. A few of you are saints who have literally zero issues with activity or bubbling, but we’re just making a massive note to have it so we have more than just one form of interaction. We want everyone to have fun and it’s not fair to anyone if they feel left out!
This being said, if anyone feels like they honestly can’t do a certain character, we’ll be more than happy to move the character to a temporary NPC slot, until they’re able to handle that character. If we notice you’re focusing on one character over others, we might have to come to you and ask if you’d like us to put some of them on hold until you can give them all the proper respect and activity!
BREAKING NEWS, 3/4 - 9PM NEWS!
Welcome back to Channel 4 News, I’m your host Jennifer Bacca. There’s been a very huge ‘cause and affect’ happening since the submissive work laws have been put into action. Here in Tampa, we’ve seen a huge number of submissives’ losing their jobs, losing their homes, and being forced to live on the street. Of course, with this, we’ve seen a number of extremely pro-active charities step in and help make sure these submissives can stay on their feet. Both of these public and private charities have been able to get at least 30% of homeless submissives to have a roof over their head.
Tampa Police urge people to still continue making sure their charities that they’re helping out, as well as donating to, are legit. Stay in groups, people, and make sure to always make sure to tell someone where you’ll be going in case of emergency.
There’s been a nation wide increase, however, of retestings on submissives markers to find out if they’re truly submissives or not since the laws have become put in place. Over 75% of these re-tests of submissives have made their marks known that they were-- in fact-- incorrect Many are being remarked as Switches, and even in some rare cases-- Dominants. The White House has responded to this with speculation, and no one quite blames them. There’s been many many rumors and accusations of Doctors and Mark Specialists being paid off to mark someone incorrectly. A horror that can completely mess someone’s life up without their knowledge, or even then with their knowledge.
Are these submissives purposefully changing their marks incorrectly? Or were over 248,000 people in the United States truly mismarked at the age of eleven? White house correspondents have come together to mark the weekend of March 16th through the 18th as a mandatory ‘MARKING RE-TEST’. They will have trusted government approved doctors stationed in every major city to do everyone’s blood test, as well as their personality test. Please make sure to clear at least four hours of your time in order to get this test redone. And again, this is a mandatory event that every single citizen of the United States must go through. If people decide to not go, they will be looking at seventeen years in jail, minimum.

LAW DROP CHANGES.
As of Feb. 11th, 2018, congress has put out the following changes onto laws. For all of the laws in America, please read here.
CHANGED AS OF FEB. 2018. Submissives are only allowed to own property or own a business if signed off by a Dominant figure who is alive. If their Dominant who has signed off on their property or business has passed, the government is required within one (1) months of passing to repossess the land or revoke the business license unless the submissive gets another Dominant to sign off within those one (1) months. This has changed from the previous four months. ****
ADDED LAW AS OF FEB. 2018. Submissives are only allowed a career or job if signed off by a Dominant figure who is alive. Those submissives who currently are working and do not have said Dominant figure have two (2) weeks before being let go from their job to find a Dominant figure to sign off on allowing them back to their work. If the acting submissive has a Dominant figure, but the Dominant figure has passed away, they are required by Law to find a new Dominant to sign off on their employment within three (3) weeks before losing their job. This extra week allows said submissive to grieve their loss properly before going back into the work force. *****
**** The Dominant to sign off on submissives' working or ownership must be related to them or have had a known connection to them for more than 2 years and have proof of said familiar-ship . This allows submissives to not be able to grab a complete stranger to sign off on their property, business, or work-related employment life. Dominants who sign off on ownership of business or work employment of a submissives' get a total of 10% revenue on each of the subject's paychecks or profit. To reiterate, submissives must get Dominant ONLY approval of employment or ownership of property.
