for this test, we had to bring a literary character to life based on the written descriptions of them, and i chose mrs twist from roald dahl‘s book The Twists. i think i did a pretty good job except her eyebrow doesnt look angry enough ;p id previously made another post about it here, but these photos were taken with stage lights to show how it would look in a performance, rather than the yellower lighting i took my own photos in by my work station.

and this was when i got to be the demonstration model for how to make a mustache :D i ended up with a dashing lip scar cuz part of the hair fell out but that just added to my epic, badass backstory XD also i spent the whole time trying not to sneeze cuz the hair kept going up my nose. how do people with real mustaches survive???

so my prof finally sent me the photos from my stage makeup class last year, and these are my first and second tests for old-age makeup :) his comment to me after the first one was “you’re scary. try to be a nice old lady next time” XD

photographic evidence of me wearing makeup. astonishing. feeling pretty is nice sometimes tho not usually nice enough for me to put up with not being able to rub my eyes lol. also tomorrow’s my birthday and im gonna be 23 and that. is so. weird. who let me get older that 14? seriously. still not sure how that happened. anyway. celebratory selfies for makeup and birthday HUZZAH!
