The increase of ‘heroes’ lately was starting to annoy Hex. The world had enough problems where the Tennysons and the plumbers are concerned, but now there were giant robots fighting monsters that dwarfed skyscrapers. He was mostly glad that he had the magic to make sure he’d survive a situation like that. 

It didn’t take long for these annoyances to gravitate toward him, as they always do. He supposed he had managed to walk into one of these fights. Monsters were crawling all over the streets, and who other than those strange robots to show up to deal with it. Holding his hand out, he eradicated one of the multiple monsters that littered the streets with his magic. 

He just wanted to get to work today.
