“What?” Rex said in disbelief. “You’re not going to tell anyone else? Seriously?”
“Yup. This is going to be the greatest prank ever, so it’s got to stay a surprise.” Ben folded his arms, a cocky grin playing on his lips.
“Couldn’t we at least tell Gwen?” Rex groaned, shuffling around on the bed while he’d made himself comfortable. “I’m sure she’d love to be there and watch it all go down.” He said, fidgeting with the goggles hanging around his neck.
“Pfft, yeah right.” Ben scoffed. “If she found out, she’d kill both of us for being, and I’ll put it her way, ‘dumb boys torturing each other with immature practical jokes’, and that would be the end of that. She’d spoil the whole plot of it for Kevin.”
“And then he’d kill us even more for even thinking about playing a prank on him, right?”
“You make a good point, Benji boy.” Rex said, looking over his crossed arms, since he was lying down on the comforter now, stomach first. “A really sucky point, sure, but still a reasonable one. Just make sure that we get everything ready for the prank, and it’ll be awesome. Kevin is going to freak.”
“That’s what I’m counting on.”
