SMSF update
The web-based Member Verification Service (MVS) ended on the 24th of September, 2021. To help funds meet their requirement to verify the self-managed super fund (SMSFs) as well as member details when processing a rollover into the SMSF we have introduced our SMSF Verification Service (SVS). The SVS will confirm: what is the state of SMSF (Complying or Regulated) The TFN of the person requesting the rollover, who is connected to the SMSF There is no confirmed date of death is available for this member. SMSF bank information is held by the ATO Electronic Service Address (ESA) is owned in the ATO. Notification: The ESA information must be made available to the fund by the member as well as the member's SMSF whenever they want to request a rollover.
