Story Time
Monday through Wednesday Of this week my house had now power. Finally, on Wednesday Smud (my power provider) and I got to the bottom of things and power was restored.
Saturday night some of that power went away. Not all of it but some. Lights worked but appliances did not. And if you turned more things in other things went off. So we no longer had heat, tv, an oven, or laundry facilities. Fun.
My roommate looked into things online and found that we could reboot the Smud box. The only problem, we did not have one. You see Casa de saMOrai is a duplex. And our Smud box is behind the other houses gate. My roommate went over there to talk to them, but nobody answered but she saw the box and so rebooted it. And that fixed everything.
For about twenty minutes. She went back over there to do it again and the domestic terrorists had locked the gate. So she could not access the box.
So tomorrow I have to call Smud, again, and hope they can fix it. Because I’m tired of not having a tv, not being able to cook, and not being able to watch my porn.
Oh, why did I call them domestic terrorists? Because they are.
Both their trucks have Texas stickers on them. There is an American flag on their fence. On the rare occasion their garage door is up you can’t see into the garage because it is blocked by a bunch of American flags of different sizes all sowed together. And one time the flags were pulled back a bit and on their garage wall is a dry erase board that had a map taped to it.
Domestic terrorists.
I miss my tv.
