SN2018 update #7
under the read more, cus its been awhile and i have Words for this.
so for a breif few weeks my action replay wasnt working correctly, and so i had to postpone the nuzlocke unitl it got its shit together. we’re all good now but there was a scary moment where i thought all hope was lost.
-general: made it to hearthome city! which means C O N T E S T S !! aside from that, i have mixed feelings on fantina, i think in platinum you can skip around and fight her crasher wake or maylene in whatever order you liked, but i cant remember if thats possible in diamond. so fuck this bitch. also, the lil garden that you can walk around in with your pokemon? i have none that are compatale, but i want free shit so i mmmay catch one that is just so i can get stuff and then release it? also i cant get the eevee from bebe until i beat the game?? which is total bullshit but i dosnt really matter since the egg you can get from a dude in hearthome would count as my catch for the area anyway. i dont remember what in the mystery egg but i think its a happiny? its not a randomizable encounter but im still counting it as a usable pokemon cus i can. i got fucking jumped by the rival battle in hearthome, but still managed to clean his clock pretty thoroughly, its in a different spot in platinum, right near the route gate onto route 209
-new catches:
-argentum the cranidos, lvl 20, bold nature,mining museum. was revived from the fossil i found in the underground, will probably not be used due to not being a randomized encounter and also i havnt had much luck with cranidos in past runs, i end up overestimating their deffense and it gets them killed.
-Lord helix, praise unto him,an omastar lvl 14, serious nature, catch for wayward cave, another fucking water type and another 4x grass weakness. i could be rolling 6 deep in a water team right now, this is fuckinf ridiculous
-dion the barboach, lvl 13, lonely nature, catch for mt. coronet. not much to say that hasnt been said, except that if i need to i may use him? only if both atticus and dimitri both die tho.
-giga the jynx, lvl 16, naughty nature route 208 catch, ive never used jynx before and im?? kinda excited to have the chance to use one on my team!! however shed be at a disadvantage in fantinas gym and maylenes, plus i already have a psycic type in the form of nyarla, so maybe nyarlas backup? not getting added the main team unless theres a need
speaking of main team, the line up is the same, with locke, atticus, nyarla, kaneda and noah. atticus and locke are my hopes for defeating fantina due to possesing dark type moves
