can you tell me about aquatic snails that you see at pet stores for aquariums?
Oh! Sure! The reason I mentioned that aquatic snails are a different story is that if you live near a beach say in florida or something, there are certain aquatic snails that are very very dangerous, and I didn’t want to be like “YEA ALL SNAILS ARE HARMLESS” because I didn’t want people thinking it was ok to go and pick up one of these suckers. That’s a cone snail, and you will probably die LOL They are danger noots. HOWEVER- I’m 90% sure your normal pet stores do not sell anything like that. At least they don’t where I work. Most aquatic snails at pet stores are going to be things like nerites, pond snails, mystery snails, or trumpet snails, or in the case of saltwater I think we just have turbo snails, which are named turbo snails because they clean the aquarium super quick! None of these will hurt you, but it’s probably not too much fun for an aquatic snail to be handled, and they’ll probably just go into their shell and wait to be put back down again.
