Snails are such a fun craft for spring time and it’s amazing how many different mediums you can use to make them. Lorelai painted this one yesterday and we cut it out and assembled this morning. She did the shell all by herself.

Fun fact: a group of snails is called a route or a walk.Time to decorate your snail’s shell! You can color the top of the paper (inside of the shell), as well as the bottom of the paper strip (outside of the shell). Make your snail as colorful as you like! Turn their fascination into a fun snail craft with simple supplies you likely already have on hand!

We made snails today to go along with our creepy crawlies theme.

I pre-cut the paper for the snails and drew an outline of a leaf for kids to cut out and decorate.
