Sometimes I think about cross stitch and think about the fact that people have been doing pixel art about 2,500 years before any sort of pixels on screens were invented.

Guys look at this GIANT millipede!! Free pattern from Projectarian! 🐛✨
Definitely want to make one myself!
My recent work 🤍
Finally finished and blocked these cute socks!
It was a fun experiment with color dominance in colorwork knitting and gave me a really thick, soft, cushiony fabric. They’re super comfy and almost more like slipper-socks.
Pattern: Call Them Cherry Blossoms by Tiina Kuu
Yarn: knitpicks palette and knitpicks stroll glimmer (discontinued)
Sooooo... I made a thing!
I'm honestly proud of myself! It had taken me about 8 months and another month to get the courage to learn how to wash and iron it!
I've learnt so much whilst doing this one! Mainly:
1. Patience is worth it
2. Do not grid your aida with embroidery floss, it does not pull out smoothly
3. How to both wash and iron a cross stitch piece (something that I didn't need to do for my first ones)
4. It's so nice to do something calming with your hands
5. Take a step back and admire your progress every once in a while
22ct Aida cloth, 2 strand DMC floss with 4 spaces treated as one!

I had so much fun making this little guy for a friends birthday. When we worked together we would intimadate each other red panda style just to make the day a little more fun.
The icing on the cake for me is the crochet border, Its just going to look so cute hanging on her wall!
New WIP alert! 🧵
Started working on a cross stitch piece of the Pendragon crest from BBC Merlin! Used a free online tool to convert the image into a pattern, tweaked the colors, and now comes the fun part of actually stitching it.
I finally finished this project for my brother in law.
