Drabble Time: 32 — MIRTH for mystery snek
The small being watched the little dwarf who’d found him tumble around the house, apparently trying to clean up. But his shoes were still covered with mud. The older dwarf was running around after him, trying to get him to stop but unable to do so. For every footprint the small one cleaned, he left behind another one. It was rather comical, even to the little snake.
Snakes don’t laugh. They show they’re happy by moving casually and showing no signs of worry or fear. And yet ... short hisses were soon coming out of the snake’s mouth as it watched the two dwarfs run around the cottage. If one didn’t know any better ... it almost looked like laughter. But it couldn’t be, could it?
