Snake walked outside to the back of the manor. It was mid-afternoon and there was a nice, cool breeze blowing. He had finished his chores at the moment, and Sebastian, the head butler, had awarded him with a small break. It had been a little over 3 months since he had come to work at the Phantomhive manor, after his 'family' from the Noah's Arc Circus went missing.

He sat down at a chair and table that were just outside the greenhouse, and gave a little sigh. Working at the manor was a lot more tiring and much harder than he thought, but Smile and the other servants seemed kind.

He looked up at the sky while the wind blowed, and sat there thinking about event long past, when he suddenly heard the cruching of leaves. He sat up, startled, and looked around. "Who's there?!? asks Goethe", he called.
