Oiiiii that’s . . . tricky. Both are not my cup of tea due to their cranial deformities.
I guess I’m going to go with Pug because they do have delightful personalities, and there is more movement towards Pugs with healthier faces than there is for Bulldogs, so theoretically I could get a reasonably okay pug. A pug that could breathe would be a really good spunky dog.
Bulldogs would still be way too squat and wrinkly for me even if they had nicer heads. And, frankly . . . I’ve yet to meet one that didn’t strike me as being a bit dim-witted. I prefer a dog capable of throwing sass.
I do think some of the Bulldog offshoots capable of actually Doing Things are nice looking, though, even if they still aren’t my cup of tea personality-wise.
