Simplifying our payment and subscription process
Good news, everybody! We’ve simplified our payment flow, and added a lot more options to the table. Our integration with Payfast brings us simple access to Credit Card payments, U-kash (read more about this, I think it’s quite a cool concept for people who don’t have bank accounts), Instant EFT, and Payfast vouchers. We’ve also spent some time improving our pricing page, to clarify some of the finer points about our subscriptions.
This won’t be the last time we improve our payment process (after all, our goal is to take things off your plate every month, not add more!), and we’d love to hear from you if you have any payment preferences (e.g. debit orders, lump sum up-front payment, etc.).
Existing customers will also be able to pay using Payfast. All unpaid invoices will be payable from your subscription page, and you’ll be notified by email when your next invoice is issued):
In the process we’ve exposed all (current and past) invoices in an easily downloadable PDF format (to make your accountant smile), thanks to Snapbill for this great feature. Your subscriptions page will now look something like this (assuming you are all paid up!):
We have also added some more notifications to remind you of your account status, subscription, and number of tasks remaining. We are improving how we message subscription and payment status, so you know where you stand with us.
Our feature wish-list grows by the day (because we are whimsical folk who love a good wish) as we help our customers hoover admin out of their lives. Our ears are always open, so please don’t be shy to tell us how you feel, where you think we can improve, or find out how we can help you, using our feedback channels.
In case you missed it, last week we dusted off some arty photos of ourselves, and put up a page explaining who’s behind the company. We’ve had some really interesting and positive feedback from people while hob-nobbing in the real world, but short of walking around with a boom mic and a grumpy sound guy, we will have to keep that feedback in our hearts.
To quote Marije, “It’s always nice to hear from happy customers”, and I am glad to say it seems to be happening a lot lately.
