Hi if anyone is able to donate my gf and I don't really have enough money for groceries rn if we want to pay bills on time and get more gas so we can drive to work. And we do have a little bit of frozen chicken and beef we haven't used yet (enough for maybe two or three meals). But we're out of bread, milk, eggs (we have 3 eggs and I'm not sure if they're still good), tomato sauce, spaghetti noodles, and most of the other staples we use in meals. This isn't life or death but it would really help us out. We get paid on Friday so the groceries just have to last until then, and we can manage by getting the bare minimum of groceries and only eating once or twice a day even if nobody can help. If we had extra for groceries, it would also be possible to do important things that we've been putting off, like getting our cars checked out (hers needs an oil change and hasnt been driven in months because the oil light and check engine came on, mine also needs an oil change and has squeaky brakes and has had a little bit of white smoke coming from the hood if I drive for more than 20 minutes which based on googling I think is a leak from the radiator. Plus my registration is expired -- but still within the grace period to renew -- and there is no way to get to my job using public transportation). We do our grocery shopping at the dollar store and Walmart so we don't need too much extra for it. We need to get enough food for dinner tonight, plus hopefully three meals a day through Friday (so 13 meals total). We both have mental health issues and I've noticed that at least for me, I run out of energy to do the things I need to do very quickly when I don't eat enough, and it makes depression significantly harder to handle for me. Like I said, we can manage even if nobody can help, but anything would be really helpful as far as getting enough to eat regularly plus hopefully getting some fruit/vegetables (usually last on the list since they're less filling). If you've donated to me before, please don't feel like you have to again! And if you don't have money to spare please keep your money to buy yourself food, pay your own bills, etc. Thank you to anyone who helps!
