I made a Angel x Sylus comic based off "The Song I Forgot" by Sora Sayuri. I've been obsessed with this song since I've heard it! I've had this comic in the works for months now so I'm happy to finally see it completed!! <3

We've got to talk about Snapdragon by Kat Leyh:
Y'all, this book is fantastic and I cannot recommend it enough.
As you can see it looks gorgeous.
From character design to action to panel layout it's a vibrant and energetic read that will keep you coming back for another pass.
Setting aside just how beautiful it is though is the wonderful wonderful story. Each aspect of the plot has its time to take root and start to grow before new aspects are introduced to blend with them. Everything is heartfelt and feels very much thought out so nothing is superfluous and every aspect of these character's very relatable lives has a place.
The main character Snap goes to the house of the town "Witch" looking for her lost dog Good Boy, and from there everything takes off. The witch turns out to be an old woman who wears baggy clothes and crocs and turns roadkill into articulated skeletons to sell online, bit with every page turn you learn more and more about this woman, named Jacks, and the reason behind what she does. You also learn about Snap's family, and her friend Lu who likes girly things and might not be quite what she seems at first either. Nor it seems is Snap herself. The whole story is full of the feeling of navigating life from the outside, and while that sort of thing can become more nebulous and ungrounded, Snapdragon gives enough weight to the characters that it treats those themes very seriously and real more so than just metaphors. And it still manages to have fun, because even if those feelings can be sad or heavy the good people you surround yourself with can make going through them a little easier. And it is hella refreshing to see a main character who is a younger kid, going through all that while surrounded by so many supportive adult figures.
