“What? That bad?” Raph said as he checked himself out in the mirror. In retrospect, he supposed that perhaps the jacket was a little (or a lot) too Sherlock Holmes-y for every day use... But it had looked better on the internet, in his defense.

She leaned forward, rubbing her clammy, bloody palms together. Ginger cocked her head to the side and swayed forward.

“Ya like me like that?”

“Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii’m a little disturbed by it, frankly,” Alan replied, pulling back into a tense and uncertain smile. She smelled like blood. And a little like sweat. But mostly like blood. Why did she smell like blood? Alan leaned a bit away and hoped it came off as casual and not at all like the internal panic attack it truly was.

“You, uh. You feeling alright there, buddy?”
