Snapvite - Last 60 days
Thought I’d share some interesting app analytics for Snapvite iOS and my takeaways:
Expectedly the general category is leading the way (26%), aka “Everything Else”. After all, it’s the largest button and it’s placed at easiest to select spot - bottom of the screen.
Dark horse event type emerging within “Everything Else” - board games! If the trend continues, it may deserve it’s own category button. People love their Canasta!
“Eat” and “Singles” are least popular (16% combined).
Most events are being created with either capacity for 1 person (50%) or no maximum (0 = no max, 24%). When no maximum is used, Snapvite acts similarly to a mass text - individual SMS’s to each friend are sent - then when the friend responds “IN” an automatic confirmation message is sent to both parties.
44% of scheduled events have an invite list of 1 person. When taking into account that most events have capacity of 1 or no max, this indicates that users aren’t utilizing full feature functionality of inviting more people than there’s room for. Should consider additional tutorials and user flow optimizations to ensure users fully understand the app’s capabilities.
